Varun Dhawan To Pair Up With New Actress In The Next Film of 'Dulhania' Franchise?

Mumbai, December 29 - Filmmaker Karan Johar and director Shashank Khaitan's romantic comedy, Dulhania is one of the most successful film franchises, starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. The duo has not only gained commercial success but also gained immense popularity with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017).

There has been a constant demand by the fans from the makers to come up with the third instalment of the franchise with the same team, but it seems there will be some changes to its leading cast. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the makers will be launching a fresh face opposite Varun in the next film of the series.



It is said that Varun along with director Shashank and producer Karan Johar, have discussed many ideas for Dulhania 3 and they have locked one. Even though Alia has been the backbone of the franchise, the makers have begun the hunt for a new actress to play Dulhania to Varun, as per the report.

Dulhania 3 will go on floors by the end of 2024 after Varun Dhawan wraps up a comic entertainer with his director father David Dhawan. The actor currently shooting for his next, tentatively titled VD18 under the direction of Tamil director Kalees, and then will start his comedy entertainer in March 2024.
