Kiara Advani On Board For RC15 And Anniyan Hindi Remake?

Mumbai, June 24, 2021: Actress Kiara Advani is one of the busiest actresses at the moment. The Kabir Singh actress has been doing some of the fantastic films off late. Currently, she has four films in the pipeline. While her Shershaah with Sidharth Malhorta is completed, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Jug Jugg Jeeyo, and Mr. Lele are under production. ## Now, it is learnt that Kiara has been roped in to play the female lead in Ram Charan's next Pan India film with director Shankar Shanmugam. According to Pinkvilla, Kiara has signed a multi-film deal with Shankar including RC15 and Anniyan Hindi remake starring Ranveer Singh. ## It is said that Kiara will be a part of both - RC15 and Anniyan remake. It will be the second time when Kiara will share screen space with Ram Charan while Anniyan Hindi remake will mark her first movie with Ranveer Singh. The character details and shoot schedules have been kept under wraps, however, the Shankar film Ranveer Singh will go on floors sometime next year, only once the work on RC 15 is concluded. ## Apart from these two films, the actress might also star in Shankar's 3rd film. However, the report suggests that it's not known if that too will be helmed by Shankar or just produced by him. While the first two will happen in a quick span, the third one might take some time to roll out. ## Meanwhile, according to reports, RC15 will be a historical drama film. It will be Ram Charan's first movie after the period action film, RRR that is scheduled to release worldwide on October 13 this year. RC15 will also have a grand pan India release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. It will be produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the production banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. ## On the other hand, Ranveer's film is the official Hindi adaptation of Shankar's own directorial 2005 Tamil psychological action thriller, "Anniyan" starring Chiyaan Vikram. Mumbai, June 24, 2021: Bollywood star, Kangana Ranaut is all set to direct his second after Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, which she co-directed with Krish. The actress had recently announced that she is collaborating with writer-director Sai Kabir for a political drama that revolves around former India Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. ## However, for a change, she has now decided to direct the film herself along with starring in the film in the role of Indira Gandhi. She took to microblogging app, Koo, and said that no one can direct the film, which is titled Emergency, better than her after working on the film for more than a year. ## "Pleased to wear director's hat again, after working on Emergency for more than a year I finally figured no one can direct it better than me. Collaborating with fabulous writer Ritesh Shah, even if it means sacrificing on various acting assignments I am determined to do it, my excitement is high. This is going to be a tremendous journey, my leap to another league #Emergency #Indira", Kangana wrote on Koo. ## Ritesh Shah, who has written films such as Pink, Kahaani, Kahaani 2, D-Day, Rocky Handsome, and others, would write the script of Indira Gandhi's biopic as well. He also wrote Kangana Ranaut's next film, Dhaakad. ## Speaking to Pinkvilla, Kangana added, "Yes. This is going to be my second directorial. Even though I wanted another film, which I am also ready with, as my second directorial. But, it so happened that I was very keen to bring Indira Gandhi's story which has never been brought to screen. I was very eager to bring it to screen. I am very happy to be the director of this film. Looking forward to bringing the iconic story to the silver screen". ## The period film will be mounted on a very big scale, and have actors portraying Sanjay Gandhi, Rajeev Gandhi, Morarji Desai, and Lal Bahadur Shashtri among other prominent figures. Kangana will also be producing the film that will feature Emergency and Operation Blue Star. ## Kangana will next be seen in late actor-politician, Jayalalitha's biopic, titled Thalaivi. Mumbai, June 24, 2021: Vidya Balan starrer thriller film, "Sherni", invites fresh controversy. The movie, which released on June 18 directly on Amazon Prime Video, deals with the subjects like human-wildlife conflict and wildlife conservation. It shows how human greed is destroying wildlife. ## While the movie deals with the sensitive subject of wildlife, the makers of the film have been alleged for "twisting of facts" relating to the killing of tigress Avni. A Hyderabad shooter Asghar Ali Khan, who shot dead tigress Avni in Maharashtra's Yavatmal in 2018, is contemplating legal action against the makers of the film. "We are consulting the legal advisers. We have not yet taken a final call," Asghar Ali Khan told IANS on Wednesday. #### He has accused the makers of the film of presenting a completely different story regarding the killing of tigress Avni. Asghar Ali Khan, who is the son of well-known shooter Nawab Sahafath Ali Khan, alleged that the movie projected them as "trigger-happy shooters". "We had gone there at the invitation of the government and killed the man-eater tigress which had mauled to death 14 persons but we were projected as if we were hunting for fun", he said. ## He argued that the way the makers presented them in the film, could damage their reputation and add "fuel to the fire" to the sensitive matter which is already subjudice. Abundantia Entertainment Pvt Ltd, one of the producers of the film, however, clarified that "Sherni" is a creative work of fiction and will not hamper "any supposed ongoing investigation" or damage Asghar Ali or his father's reputation. ## Asghar Ali, however, is not satisfied with this. "If there is one similarity between what was shown in the movie and what happened in Avni's case, it can be called coincidence but there are so many similarities. There was a lady officer in the real operation, there is a lady officer (Vidya Balan) in the movie. There are other similarities like two cubs of the tigress and the use of urine of another tiger to attract the tigress", he said.## Sherni is directed by Amit V. Masurkar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, and Amit V. Masurkar under the banners of T-Series, and Abundantia Entertainment. Paramount Pictures Unveils Title And Plot Details Of 7th Installment Of Transformers Movie

Los Angeles, June 23, 2021: Paramount Pictures is all set to take the Transformers franchise to the next level with its seventh installment. During a virtual press event, Paramount revealed that the 7th film in the Transformers franchise will be titled - Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, indicating something beastly. ## The forthcoming Transformers movie will be different from its previous films in many ways. Directed by Steven Caple Jr., who last directed Creed II, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will include robots who transform themselves into animal forms like a gorilla, falcon, and rhinoceros. ## "There are different breeds of Transformers. In our particular film, they are prehistoric animals who travel through time and space, and we find them here on Earth", said Caple revealing that Optimus Prime will be the film's main hero and that the fan-favorite character will appear in his G1 form. ## The main villain will be named Scourge, who has 'big clawed hands and smoking exhaust ports on his shoulders. Scourge takes the symbols from his victims and fuses them onto his body as trophies. The movie will also feature Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback in the lead human roles. Ramos will essay the role of a Brooklyn-based ex-military electronics expert while Fishback will be portrayed as an artifact researcher in the film. ## Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will be set in the year 1994 and will narrate the backstory of Optimus Prime. The movie will partially be set in Brooklyn, New York, and will also go to Peru, among other locations. Unfortunately, I won't be part of the dream, but I am, and will always be there for them to realise their dream. COVID messed up everyone's schedules, mine was no different. Opening up about the same, Srijit Mukherji said that Mithali Raj's tale has always been an inspiration for him, and he is excited to be a part of the film. ## "Being a cricket buff and researcher, Mithali’s tale has always been an inspiration to me. I was excited since I had first heard of this film being made and now that I am a part of it, I look forward to kickstarting the journey to bring this exhilarating story to the silver screen soon", said Srijit.## Shabash Mithu is being produced by Viacom18 Studios. Ajit Andhare, the COO of the production house, said that it was unfortunate that Rahul had to leave, but his contribution will remain with the film. ## "COVID disruptions have required rescheduling of the shoot and, as a result, Rahul is moving on from Shabaash Mithu. It's unfortunate that after sharing and nurturing this dream for a long time, Rahul has to part ways. His contribution will remain, I thank him for that and wish him the very best", he said in a statement.## The biopic is based on the life of India's greatest woman cricketer ever, Mithali Raj.
