The movie will see Ezra Miller playing The Flash/Barry Allen, in his first-ever solo film from DC Comics. The actor will be stepping into the shoes of Allu Arjun. ## While Kartik will commence shooting for the remake after completing the remaining portions of Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, according to the peepingmoon, Kriti Sanon has been roped in to romance with her Luka Chuppi co-star. The report also said that Paresh Rawal has also joined the cast of this Rohit Dhawan directorial. ## "Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon are coming together again after spelling magic on-screen with Dinesh Vijan's Luka Chuppi. Log Angeles, June 20, 2021: The early box office predictions suggesting that Marvel Studios' Black Widow will outscore Universal Pictures' Fast & Furious 9, in the opening domestic weekend. Both movies are due to release on July 9 and June 25 respectively in the US. ## Black Widow and F9 were originally slated for 2020 release but the covid-19 pandemic delayed the releases by a whole year. And now, as theaters begin opening and the box-office starts to back on track with hits like A Quiet Place 2 and Godzilla vs. Kong - Black Widow, and F9 are set to be the biggest hits of the pandemic era. ## The fact that Scarlett Johanson fronted, Black Widow is a two-way release in theaters and on Disney Plus Premier Access for $30 simultaneously as compared to F9, which is an outright theatrical release. Still, Black Widow is expected to win the box office war against the high octane actioner, F9. ## According to Boxoffice Pro, Black Widow is expected to score between $65 million to $90 million in compared to F9's $50-$70 million in the opening weekend. Going by the predictions, Black Widow is set to become the top-grossing opening domestic weekend since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. ## Despite the covid-19 effect, Black Widow's opening weekend projection is already ahead of previous MCU movies such as - The Incredible Hulk ($55 million) and Ant-Man ($57 million). Both Captain America: The First Avenger and Thor opened to $65 million in 2011 and that matches Black Widow's lowest box-office predictions ($65M). If Black Widow opened to the highest projection of $90 million, it would top the opening weekends for Ant-Man and the Wasp ($75 million) as well as Doctor Strange and Thor: The Dark World ($85 million). ## Directed by Cate Shortland, the upcoming prequel is set to showcase the return of Scarlett Johansson as the titular spy. While the plot details are still being kept under wraps, Black Widow has been confirmed to be set in between the events of Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018). ## Scarlett Johansson will be joined by Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz, and David Harbour in prominant roles along with O-T Fagbenle, William Hurt, and Ray Winstone. The early reviews from Black Widow are highly positive as critics are calling it one of the best solo films of Marvel Studios.## Meanwhile, on the other hand, Justin Lin's directorial, F9, has already opened in many international markets including China. It has crossed $200 million at the China box office while the overall collection of F9 is around $300 million. The four-time Asian Games gold medallist had tested positive for the covid-19 earlier, was shifted out of the Covid-ICU after being tested negative a couple of days ago. ## While the family is yet to come to terms with the passing away of Milkha Singh's wife, 85-year-old Nirmal Kaur, who succumbed to Covid-related complications at a private hospital in Mohali on Sunday, the legendary athlete lost a valiant battle after developing fever and a dip in oxygen saturation level from Thursday night in the medical ICU of the PGI hospital. ## On the demise of Milkha Singh, the sports fraternity led by Sachin Tendulkar, Virendra Sehwag, P.T. Filmmaker Karan Johar Launches Yash Johar Foundation To Make Lives Better of Film Industry Members

Mumbai, June 18, 2021: Karan Johar is one of the biggest film producers in the Bollywood film industry. And now, the filmmaker is starting an important initiative to help the film industry members and will work towards offering better access to opportunities in education, health & building financial stability. ## On Friday (June 18), the director-producer took to social media and announced that the launch of the Yash Johar Foundation, created in memory of his father. The actor shared a special video featuring many old photos of producer Yash Johar with his industry colleagues. The video also includes pictures of the filmmaker with his father. ## "This has been a true labor of love… created in memory of my incredible father and to carry forward his legacy. "My father Yash Johar loved everything about the movies. He just had to step onto a film set and he was a changed man. But his heart lay in the people who made up the industry. From the spot boys to the cameramen, from the editors to the actors, they made up his world", the filmmaker can be heard saying in the video.## "He was naturally a kind and empathetic person, who understood that being in the movie business is hard. This is why it gives me great pleasure to announce the formation of the Yash Johar Foundation for the people of the entertainment industry. Dhanush To Collaborate With National Award-Winning Filmmaker Sekhar Kammula For A Trilingual Movie

Mumbai, June 18, 2021: Superstar Dhanush is on a roll at the moment. Having several projects already in the pipeline, the National Award-Winning actor has confirmed one more film, which will be a Pan India release. The Karnan actor has collaborated with another National Award-Winner filmmaker Sekhar Kammula for the yet-untitled breezy entertainer. ## Sekhar Kammula won the National Award for his debut directorial film, Dollar Dreams (2020), which is a Telugu-English bilingual movie. It will be the first time when Dhanush and Kammula working together on a film, which is trilingual, to be shot in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi simultaneously. The movie will also mark Dhanush's Telugu debut. ## The movie will be produced by Narayan Das K Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the production banner Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP which is a unit of Asian Group, the leading exhibition, and distribution company. The makers are planning to launch the movie later this year and other details are yet to be revealed. ## Meanwhile, Dhanush is all set for the release of his next Tamil movie, Jagame Thandiram, which is scheduled to premiere directly on Netflix on June 18.
