Top 10 Hindi Advance Sales For Opening Day At National Chains; 'Animal' To Finish In Top 5

Mumbai, November 29 - Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor is all set to have one of the biggest openings at the box office to his name with gangster action drama Animal. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, "Animal" is having an excellent response in the advances which has ensured a mammoth opening at the domestic as well as the overseas box office.
The film has so far sold over 550K tickets overall for the opening day in India in all versions and is set to finish over 1 million or 10 lakh tickets for the opening day. In India, it has sold over 425K tickets so far while dubbed versions have sold around 125K tickets on the first day.
Meanwhile, at the three national chains (PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis), "Animal" has sold around 225K tickets so far. The advances are continuing with strong momentum and at PIC, the movie is expected to finish around 500K for the opening day which will put it among the top 5 Hindi films of all time.

"Animal" is likely to be somewhere between "KGF: Chapter 2" and "War" at PIC. The trade is expecting the film to open over 40 crores net in Hindi, which will make it Ranbir Kapoor's biggest opener, beating "Sanju", also for director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Produced by T-Series, Bhadrakali Pictures, and Cine1 Studios, the movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in prominent roles. It has been certified with the adult rating with an approved runtime of 3 hours and 21 minutes, making it one of the longest Indian films ever.
