'Pushpa 2 - The Rule' Sells 20+ Million Tickets On Book My Show; Crosses 60+ Million Overall Footfalls
Mumbai, January 3 - There is no stopping Pushpa 2 - The Rule which continues to script new records with each passing day. It has become the highest-grossing film ever at the Indian box office after surpassing Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion in 29 days.
The Allu Arjun-fronted blockbuster has crossed 6 crores (60 million) footfalls in India in 29 days, becoming the first film since Baahubali 2 (2017) to achieve the feat. BB2 had sold over 100 million tickets in India and is among the very few films to do so.
Pushpa 2 - The Rule is among the top 10 most-watched films in India. Iconic Sholay (1975) continues to remain the number 1 film with well over 12 crore tickets sold.
On the online ticketing platform Book My Show, Pushpa 2 has sold 20+ million tickets so far and this is the first time when a movie to done this in the platform's history. KGF: Chapter 2 was previously the number 1 movie on BMS with 17.1+ million tickets getting sold.
