The South Indian actress has been paired opposite Sidharth Malhotra in director Shantanu Bagchi's spy thriller movie. ## Producer Amar Bhutala took to Twitter and announced wrap for Rashmika's part in Mission Majnu. Mumbai, August 27, 2021: It's been a week since Akshay Kumar starrer Bell Bottom was released in theaters on August 19. Taking the initiative to go for a theatrical release amid the covid-19 pandemic, the movie is doing decent business with the restricted release without Maharashtra release and 50% occupancy in other states. ## The Bell Bottom team is now planning to make a sequel to it and they have already started working on it. In an interview with pinkvilla, the writers of the film, Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh revealed that Akshay Kumar really liked the concept of the movie and he wants to create a franchise of it. ## The writers, however, said that they are yet to crack a story for Bell Bottom 2 and are trying to do something interesting. Aseem revealed that the idea of making Bell Bottom came after reading about the incident in a certain book. ## The story of Bell Bottom revolves around a real-life hijacking of an Indian Airlines flight in 1984 during Indira Gandhi's tenure as PM of India. Akshay Kumar plays a RAW agent in the film who was sent on a secret mission to rescue the 210 hostages. Bell Bottom is the codename of Akshay in the film. ## Meanwhile, the writer duo has also written the script of Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Mission Majnu, which recently resumed shooting. Mumbai, August 26, 2021: The success of Vikram Batra's biopic, Shershaah has done wonders for actor Sidharth Malhotra, who has now become one of the bankable young actors in the Bollywood film industry. His impactful performance as the 1999 Kargil war martyr in Shershaah has made a lasting impression on cinema lovers. ## The Vishnuvardhan directorial has brought Sidharth the appreciation he was looking for ever since he made his debut with Karan Johar's Student of The Year in 2012. Though Malhotra was doing good before Shershaah, his career is expected to boost like nothing else after his once-in-a-lifetime performance. ## Now, according to the latest reports, Sidharth is again collaborating with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The unpreceded success of Shershaah has made Karan Johar sign Sidharth for one more film, which is said to be an aerial action film. Mumbai, August 25, 2021: Yash Raj Films' period action drama "Shamshera" is one of the few movies ready for release for a long time now. The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor in the title role with Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt portraying the antagonist. ## Directed by Karan Malhotra, Shamshera was ready for release in theaters in 2020 but due to the covid-19 pandemic, it got postponed. Later, it was announced the 25 June 2021 release, but again, the second wave of the pandemic spoilt all the plans. There is chaos to release movies directly on OTT as theaters are yet to fully operational. ## Vaani, however, insists that Shamshera is a film meant for theatrical experience and will release only with 100 percent occupancy in the cinema halls. ## "It will release when the things fully normalize.
