Mumbai, June 3 - It is proving to be a happy Saturday for the Hindi film industry as Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is showing big gains at the box office as the business is up by over 30%-35% from Friday opening day. ## The comedy-drama film had a good start with 5.49 crores net collection and as per the early estimates, the movie scored around 7-7.50 crores net on its second day/first Saturday. This takes the total collection to approx. 13 crores in two days. ## The fact that trade wasn't expecting ZHZB to put these sorts of collections, 13 crores in two days is something the makers will be really happy with. The buy one get one ticket offer is undoubtedly benefitting the biz which is applicable till Sunday (June 4). ## The Maddock Films production is looking to score 20-22 crores net opening weekend which will be a very good result for ZHZB. The real test of the movie will begin on Monday and if it manages to hold well, the movie has a great chance of emerging as a clean box-office hit. ## Meanwhile, the animated Hollywood superhero movie Spider-Man: Across The Spiderverse is also having a good opening weekend. After scoring around 8.20 crores net in the first two days, the movie has scored over 60% jump today for an estimated 6.50-7 crores net.## "Across The Spiderverse" has already crossed the lifetime collection of the first film "Into The Spiderverse" which scored just 6.50 crores net in India in 2018. The movie broke many box office records for a Hindi movie and also brought Yash Raj Films into the game after back-to-back flops. ## Before "Pathaan", Siddharth Anand scored a massive blockbuster with YRF's "War" starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. He has now become a bankable asset for the studio and continuing their blockbuster collaboration, YRF has hired him to direct its biggest movie yet, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan-fronted "Tiger vs Pathaan". ## "Tiger vs Pathaan" will start shooting in January 2024 and it will be Anand's third film in the YRF's Spy Universe. According to Bollywood Hungama, the mass filmmaker has been paid a whopping 40 crores remuneration to helm this mega-budget movie. With this, Anand has become the highest-paid director at Yash Raj Films. ## Apart from "Tiger vs Pathaan", YRF is also working on the sequel to "War" which will be directed by Ayan Mukerji who previously directed "Brahmastra Part One - Shiva". Mumbai, June 2 - After the slow start in the morning, Maddock Films' Zara Hatke Zara Bachke picked up well during the day to post a healthy opening day at the box office. ## The movie had scored a decent advance booking which indicated a 3 crores start. However, the buy one get one offer helped the film to do well during the day as early estimates suggest around 5.50 crores net opening day. The number might reach 6 crores net which remains to see. ## Considering the low pre-release buzz, the opening of 5.50-6 crores can be termed very good for a movie featuring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan. The last theatrical release of Kaushal "Bhoot – Part One" took the opening of 5.10 crores and that was in the pre-pandemic era. ## Should the movie actually open at 5.50 crores or with a little difference here and there, it is good news as the industry really needed the mid-range films to at least, open well before word of mouth comes into the play and ZHZB has been able to do that.## Apart from the buy one get one offer, the trade believes that keeping the low ticket prices has also helped the movie on its opening day and is up for a good opening weekend. Directed by Karan Johar, RRKPK will hit screens on July 28 this year. ## The actor hasn't officially announced his next film yet but he said to have locked in two films which will be his immediate next after RRKPK. It is well known to everyone that Ranveer has been in talks with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the period musical drama film Baiju Bawra, and according to Pinkvilla, the actor has finally on board the movie. There were some issues regarding the budget which have now been solved. ## Alia Bhatt has already been locked in to play the female lead alongside Ranveer in the film which is expected to go on floors in the first quarter of 2024. It will be Ranveer and Alia's third film after "Gully Boy" and "RRKPK". Now, it is reported that Atlee is in advanced talks with Anushka Sharma to play the female lead role and the actress is said to have given her nod to star in the film. ## Atlee will be producing this film with Murad Khetani while Tamil director Kalees is reportedly on board to direct it. The makers were previously in talks with Janhvi Kapoor for the female lead role but she reportedly turned it down citing date issues. Mumbai, May 30 - After the massive response to Jai Shri Ram song a week ago, the new song Ram Siya Ram from director Om Raut's Adipurush was launched yesterday, and as expected, it turned out to be another massive hit for the makers. ## Sung and composed by Sachet-Parampara from the lyrics by Manoj Muntashir Shukla, Ram Siya Ram was launched on T-Series' YouTube channel, and in the first 24 hours, it received huge 38+ million views in all languages, which is the second highest ever for a movie song in India. ## The Hindi version of the song got little over 32 million views in 24 hours, which is the second highest ever after the film's first song Jai Shri Ram which scored around 32.20 million views. The other versions of the latest hit song scored around 6 million views, including 4.5 million of the Telugu version. The Hindi version is currently trending at number 2 on YouTube. ## ## "Adipurush" is the cinematic adaptation of the epic Ramayana. The covid was a huge setback but Akshay is hopeful that by the end of 2024, the industry will have stability and would be in a better position than it is today.## Box office results aside, the "Ram Setu" actor has been accused of charging high upfront fees which lead to an increase in budget and if the movie fails it results in huge losses to the makers. However, the actor revealed that he is not charging upfront fees for quite some time now and all the rumors about his remuneration are not true. ## "It's not true. I am not charging upfront. I am the partner in the films. If Selfiee has flopped, I will not get money or will get just 10% of what my fee was. Today, if you come to me with an idea and if we work on the film, we will work as partners and release it together. If it works, both of us will earn. If not, we both will earn less or not at all. But it won't go in minus", he said in an interview with Mint. ## He further said that despite the fact that Selfiee and Rakshabandhan did not work at the box office, Disney or Zee have not lost money because of these films as he was the one who didn't earn because of not charging upfront. For Selfiee, me and my partner Karan Johar took it.## Meanwhile, Akshay will next be seen in the social drama "OMG 2" which is based on sex education in India. The 1 minute and 13 seconds video shows glimpses of an unrecognized Randeep Hooda as social activist Veer Savarkar. ## The teaser promises to have asked tough questions, and one of them is who killed Veer Savarkar's history. One of the major highlights of the teaser is when Savarkar says that Mahatma Gandhi wasn't wrong, but India could have won freedom 35 years earlier if he would have not followed his non-violence ideology. ## Through teaser, the makers have also claimed that Savarkar inspired great freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, Subash Chandra Bose, and Khudiram Bose.## Randeep Hooda has himself directed as well as co-produced this flick under Randeep Hooda films.
