Akshay Kumar's 'OMG 2' Teaser Launch Date Revealed

Mumbai, July 7 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's much-awaited social comedy-drama film "OMG 2" is getting ready to release on August 11 this year. The movie is directed by Amit Rai and also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in the leading roles.

Akshay Kumar took to Twitter on July 9 to announce the launch of the much-awaited teaser of OMG 2 on July 11 digitally and the same will reportedly be also attached to the prints of Hollywood biggie "Mission Impossible 7" in cinemas on July 12.

The teaser of "OMG 2" is certified with the clean "U" certificate with the approved runtime of 1 minute and 34 seconds. The movie is touted to be a hard-hitting social comedy based on sex education in India. Akshay plays the role of Lord Shiva in the film which is the sequel to his 2012's "Oh My God".

Apart from the teaser of the Akshay Kumar-starrer, Viacome18 studios will also attach the trailer of director Karan Johar's "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani" with "MI 7" in cinemas. RRKPK trailer was recently launched and met with a positive response.

"OMG 2" is produced by Cape of Good Films, Viacom18 Studios, and Wakaoo Films. It will clash with Sunny Deol's highly-awaited period action drama film "Gadar 2 - The Katha Continues" which is also releasing on August 11 worldwide.
