'Adipurush' Telugu States Theatrical Rights Get Sold At Whopping Price

Hyderabad, May 28 - Prabhas-fronted "Adipurush" is getting ready to release on June 16 this year amid huge anticipation among fans and trade. The epic drama is expected to be a money spinner for the makers and if reports are to be believed, the Telugu states theatrical rights are already get sold. ## Producer TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory acquired the Telugu states theatrical rights of "Adipurush" for 185 crores, including GST. ## The producer officially confirmed the aforementioned price in a recent interview with Mirchi9 and said that they will also be buying Prabhas' "Spirit" which will be produced by T-Series and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.## "Adipurush" has been able to generate huge buzz after the unanimously positive response to the trailers and songs. The advance booking response is also positive for the movie which is expected to open big at the box office on June 16.## Directed by Om Raut, "Adipurush" is the cinematic adaptation of Ramayana and stars Prabhas as Lord Rama alongside Kriti Sanon as Sita, Saif Ali Khan as Raavan, Sunny Singh as Laxman and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman, among others. Akshay Kumar's 'OMG 2' To Release In Theaters

Mumbai, May 27 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's much-awaited social comedy-drama film OMG - Oh My God! - 2 will be released in theaters, contrary to rumors about the direct-to-digital release. ## Directed by Amit Rai, the movie is a spiritual sequel to "OMG – Oh My God! (2012) and stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam. The movie has been in production since 2021. The movie was supposed to release in cinemas last year, however, due to the delay in the shoot, the makers postponed the release indefinitely. ## It was recently reported that the movie has opted for a direct OTT release, however, the makers never confirmed the same. Now, according to Pinkvilla, "OMG 2" is being readied for its theatrical release this year as the makers never discussed its OTT release. ## "Akshay Kumar along with his partners, Ashwin Varde, Viacom 18, and Jio Studios have decided on a theatrical release for Oh My God 2. Several discussions happen throughout the course of making, but, Oh My God 2 was always announced as a theatrical venture. Mumbai, May 26 - The 4th installment of producer Vipul Shah's action thriller franchise Commando is officially in the works and has already commenced filming, confirms Adah Sharma who reprises her role as Bhavana Reddy. ## The shoot of Commando 4 commences with no prior announcement. The movie reunites the lead pair Vidyut Jammwal and Adah Sharma after "Commando 3" which was released in 2019.## During a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Adah said that she is excited to be back as Bhavana Reddy in the upcoming film. "I am doing Commando with him (Vipul Shah), where I again play Bhavana Reddy. So for the action fans, that’s still there. There will be more action and more comedy... that role stays as is in Commando". ## Andy Long, who is Jackie Chan's stunt director, is on board the movie. "So the action is also going to be quite cool, and they are using different objects as weapons. Mumbai, May 26 - Director Sudipto Sen's blockbuster The Kerala Story continues to make money at the box office after putting up a solid third-week collection. During its 3rd week, the movie also crossed the 200 crores net mark and became only the second Bollywood movie of the year to do so. ## The Adah Sharma-fronted movie scored approx. 41.50 crores net collection (-54.21% from the second week), which is the 6th biggest third-week total for a Bollywood movie of all time. This pushed the total net collection of "The Kerala Story" to over 212 crores, which makes it the 24th highest-earning Hindi of all time. ## "The Kerala Story" will look to top "The Kashmir Files" in its lifetime run. TKF scored approx. 252 crores net collection, which is the 16th highest-ever for a Hindi movie. TKS has a much better hold as compared to TKF (-71.60%) in the third week which gives the latest blockbuster a chance to cross Vivek Agnihotri's directorial. ## The worldwide collection of TKS is approx. 265 crores through the third week and it will finish over 300 crores in its lifetime run which will make it only the 4th Bollywood movie post the covid-19 pandemic and 2nd of 2023 to do so. ## Stay tuned...

The song, which was launched on May 20 during an event in Mumbai, has created a huge buzz for the movie that is scheduled to hit big screens on June 16. ## The song has gone viral across all social media platforms and is currently trending at number 2 on YouTube. Thanks to the phenomenal response, the 'Jai Shri Ram' song has crossed 100 million views on YouTube in just 5 days. ## The Hindi version of the song has alone scored 87+ million views, followed by 9.5+ million views of the Telugu version. The yet-untitled movie will jointly be produced by Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films. ## The upcoming movie marks the maiden Bollywood movie of director Andrrews who is known for Malayalam blockbusters such as "Mumbai Police" and "Kayamkulam Kochunni" while it also marks the first time that Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films have worked together. ## Shahid Kapoor said, "It's rare to find a subject that has action, thrill, drama, and suspense all packed into one script and I am really looking forward to this. The Hindi filmmakers continue to invest in remakes despite the fact that most of them are not performing well. ## It was recently revealed that Phantom Studios in association with "Love Today" original producers AGS Entertainment will be producing the Bollywood remake. Now, according to the latest reports, the makers have locked the lead star cast and director for the same. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, superstar Aamir Khan's son, Junaid Khan, and Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's younger daughter, Khushi Kapoor, have been locked in to headline the "Love Today" remake. "Laal Singh Chaddha" director Advait Chandan has been brought on board to helm the Hindi version. ## "The movie is an entertaining look at love in today's technologically advanced world and has very well been adapted for Hindi-speaking audiences. The makers have made several changes to make it a little more mainstream, but the core theme of modern love and the emotional trials of families has been retained as it is", says the report.## The original Tamil movie starred Pradeep Ranganathan (also director) and Ivana in the leading roles alongside Sathyaraj, Yogi Babu, and Raadhika Sarathkumar. Akshay plays the role of an Air Force officer while it was revealed recently that Veer Pahariya, the son of renowned businessman Sanjay Pahariya has been roped in to play a key role in his acting debut. ## Now, according to Peepingmoon.com, the makers have also locked the female cast.
