Kota Ibushi Opens Up About Contemplating Retirement Following Shoulder Injury

New York, December 17 - Pro wrestling sensation Kota Ibushi, known for his resilience and high-flying prowess, recently shared candid insights into a challenging period in his career, where a shoulder injury led him to contemplate retirement. The Japanese star discussed his journey, recent appearances in AEW, and addressed questions about his future in a conversation with Pro Wrestling NOAH’s website.## Ibushi's shoulder injury, sustained during the NJPW G1 Finals in October 2021, forced him out of action until his return at Bloodsport 9 in March 2023. Since then, he has made notable appearances in AEW and is gearing up for a significant match at NOAH The New Year on January 2, where he will face Naomichi Marufuji.## In the interview, Ibushi reflected on his potential retirement, emphasizing his uncertainty about when his wrestling journey will conclude.
