The rivalry between Mercedes Mone and Giulia heats up as both prepare for significant events in their careers.

In a recent interview, NJPW Strong Women's Champion Giulia expressed her desire to defend her title against Mone. This comes after Giulia claimed the championship from Willow Nightingale in July 2023, just a month after Nightingale defeated Mone in the tournament finals. Mone, however, has been sidelined with an ankle injury since May 2023.



Mone took to social media to respond to Giulia's challenge, further fueling the fire between the two wrestlers. While the content of her response remains undisclosed, it signifies her awareness and potential interest in the proposed match.

Plush, Mone is reportedly set to make her highly anticipated debut in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) on March 13th at the "Dynamite: Big Business" event. Meanwhile, Giulia gears up to defend her title against Stephanie Vaquer on March 10th. This match will likely be her last in STARDOM as she is reported to depart the promotion at the end of March, leaving her future plans unclear.
