Kota Ibushi Sufferers An Injury; Taken To The Hospital Following His Match Against Naomichi Marufuji At Pro Wrestling NOAH

Kota Ibushi has suffered an injury, as reported by Sports Hochi. Following his match against Naomichi Marufuji at Pro Wrestling NOAH on January 2, Ibushi was taken to the hospital.

Despite entering the match with a pre-existing ankle injury, he attempted to work through it for 35 minutes. According to the report, Ibushi sustained injuries to both ankles during the match.



After the bout, he was unable to stand and fell over as Marufuji raised his arm. Ibushi managed to reach the backstage area and was subsequently transported to the hospital in an ambulance.

Narihiro Takeda, NOAH’s Director, stated that no further information will be available until Ibushi undergoes a diagnosis at the hospital.
