Thalapathy Vijay's 'Beast' Banned In Kuwait But Cleared To Release In The UAE

Chennai, April 6 - Thalapathy Vijay's forthcoming action thriller, "Beast" has been banned to release in the Middle East country, Kuwait. Recently, Malayalam blockbuster "Kurup" and Tamil hit "FIR" were also banned in the country. ## As per the industry sources, the reason behind the decision of banning "Beast" in Kuwait could be the portrayal of Pakistan's terrorism and violence. Chiyaan Vikram's 'Cobra' To Release In May 2022

Chennai, March 6 - Tamil star Chiyaan Vikram is winning mixed to positive responses for his recently released action thriller film, "Mahaan", which debuted directly on Amazon Prime Video. The actor is now gearing up for the blockbuster summer with two new releases. ## The "Anniyan" actor will next be seen in the sci-fi action thriller, "Cobra", which marks former Indian cricket, Irfan Pathan's film debut. Directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu, the movie features Chiyaan Vikram as a mathematician in close to 8 appearances. ## Produced by Seven Screen Studios, "Cobra" will be released on May 26th and it may have a theatrical debut unlike Vikram's "Mahaan". Director Gnanamuthu recently confirmed the release date but he didn't provide the release platform. The industry reports, however, are hinting at its theatrical release first. ## "Cobra" has been in production for a long time. It was originally scheduled for a release coinciding with the Eid Al-Fitr weekend, falling on 22 May 2020.
