Kamal Haasan's 'Indian 2' With Director Shankar To Resume After 'RC15' Shoot Done

Chennai, June 17 - It looks like the long wait for Kamal Haasan-fronted "Indian 2" is finally coming to an end as this highly-anticipated blockbuster sequel is coming back on track. This S. Shankar directorial was put on hold after an accident on the sets and the covid-19 pandemic.
During a recent media conversation, Kamal Haasan confirmed that he and director Shankar are very keen to resume the shooting of the film and said that it will resume once Shankar is done with Ram Charan's Pan India movie "RC15", which is currently under production.
The veteran actor further said that more than fans, he and Shankar are excited about the movie. Things are looking all settled and it will resume after "RC15". The movie is produced by Allirajah Subaskaran under the banner of Lyca Productions. It also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Bobby Simha in key roles.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is currently enjoying the blockbuster success of "Vikram", which has grossed approx. 350 crores worldwide so far. This Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed action thriller flick has turned out to be the biggest blockbuster of Kamal Haasan's career and one of the biggest in Tamil cinema.
Kamal Haasan will next take "Malik" director Mahesh Narayanan's movie and it is expected to begin in July this year.
