Mumbai, July 17 - Talented Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi is all set to reunite with Akshay Kumar for not just one but two films. The actor previously confirmed the third installment of the courtroom comedy drama "Jolly LLB" with Akshay and now, he has confirmed "Weclome 3" as well. ## "Welcome 3" has been in the news for a long time and the makers themselves confirmed that the development on the same. It was recently reported that Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Dutt will also be part of the next Welcome movie and will join Akshay and Paresh Rawal. ## During a recent interview with Hindustan Times, the actor confirmed the development and said, "The scale of Welcome 3: the cost, the climax, is unreal. It is an insanely larger-than-life theatrical film that I will be a part of. It has me, Akshay Kumar, Sanju (Sanjay Dutt), Paresh Rawal, and lots of other people". ## Producer Firoz Nadiadwala is gearing up to start Welcome 3 which is reportedly titled "Welcome To The Jungle". Mumbai, July 15 - Producer Manish Mishra of 2idiots Films in association with Ranjit Sharma has announced a Pan India movie, titled "The Battle Story of Somnath". Written and directed by Anup Thapa, the film is based on the true event of the Somnath invasion of Mahmud Ghazni. ## "The Battle Story of Somnath" is a multilingual project which will be released in twelve major Indian languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Marathi. The movie was announced today (July 15) with an animated teaser. ## The teaser of the film gives a background of the Somnath Jyotirling's history across the Yugas as it says, "The saga of history, the first Jyotirling of Lord Shiv. Chandra Dev made it from gold in Satyug. Made from brass by Ravan in Tretayug. Lord Shri Krishna in Dwaparyug. The first biggest invader Mahmud Ghazni, the 1025 CE attack. Mumbai, July 15 - Filmmaker Rohit Shetty takes the blame on himself for the box office failure of the comedy caper "Cirkus" starring Ranveer Singh in a double role. Released in December last year, the movie failed miserably to gross just around 60 crores, becoming the lowest-grossing film of Shetty since "All The Best" (2009) at the worldwide box office. ## During a recent interview with India Today, the maverick filmmaker said that every success and failure of his movies belongs to him. "I make sure to surround myself with people who are honest with me. So, when a film doesn't do well, I know it. Hence, I have always believed that both my successes and failures are mine. There is no point shying away from it", he said.## "When a 'Singham' or a 'Golmaal' did well, that was also mine, so when a 'Zameen' (2003), a 'Dilwale' or a 'Cirkus' failed, that was also mine. I don't see a point in blaming anything else", Shetty added.## The "Singham" director further said that "Cirkus" was made during the pandemic for the workers so that they can earn their livelihood. Shetty's next theatrical release is the highly-anticipated third installment of the "Singham" franchise starring Ajay Devgn which is due to start filming next month and be released during Independence Day weekend 2024.## Shetty promises to make a solid comeback with "Singham Again". "The same audience made 'Sooryanshi' a blockbuster despite a 50% occupancy, and if it didn't work for 'Cirkus', I must take ownership of failures as well. Mumbai, July 10 - The wait finally ends and the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is there to fight the wrongs in society in the first look teaser/trailer of the highly-anticipated action thriller film Jawan" directed by Atlee Kumar. ## The 2-minute and 12 seconds promo gives the first look at Shah Rukh Khan's different looks as well as the first look at Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Deepika Padukone (cameo). The makers have officially described the movie as a "high-octane action thriller which outlines the emotional journey of a man who is set to rectify the wrongs in society". ## The promo begins with a voiceover by Shah Rukh Khan, who says, "I don't know who I am or what I am, I do not know". He goes on to say whether he is a promise made to a mother or a purpose.. unfinished. "Am I good or bad, a blessing or a curse, ask these questions yourself. Because I am you, for better or worse".## In between the dialogues, the actor indulges in some high-octane action scenes before we get to see glimpses of the soldier character that SRK plays. The teaser then gives a glimpse of SRK's bandaged look before he takes off his bandages to reveal an all-new bald look to hijack a train and goes on to say "When I become the villain, no hero stands a chance against me". ## SRK accompanies by his girl gang which helps him to fight the wrongs. Nayanthara and Deepika can also be seen involved in the fight scenes. The action-heavy promo, however, doesn't reveal what are the wrongs the actor and his girl gang are fighting. The promo ends with a funny train scene in which SRK is having a funny dance to an old song while the passengers shaking. ## Overall, the teaser lives up to the high expectations as it promises a complete mass entertainer SRK has never done before. Mumbai, July 9 - Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's musical romantic drama film "Satyaprem Ki Katha" is heading for a healthy lifetime collection at the domestic box office. Despite being not a mass-friendly film, it has done well in the first week to enter the second weekend with a bang. ## After dropping just 5% on its second Friday for 2.85 crores net, the Sameer Vidhwans-directed flick scored a big jump of 66.67% on its second Saturday to collect 4.75 crores net. This takes the total net collection to 60.81 crores in 10 days. It is expected to score a further jump today and is likely to bring in 5.50 crores for the second-weekend collection of around 13 crores. ## SPK also has done decently at the overseas box office to score approx. 13 crores net (estimated). The worldwide collection of the movie currently stands at around 85 crores gross and it will soon enter the 100-crore gross club globally. ## The Sajid Nadiadwala production has been able to attract its target multiplex audiences, especially the youth which is loving this romantic saga. The movie is currently the post-production work and in between, the makers have already reportedly locked the non-theatrical rights of the film. ## It was recently reported that the non-theatrical rights of "Dunki" have been sold in a whopping amount of approx. 230 crores, and now, it has been revealed that the streaming rights alone have fetched 155 crores, making it the biggest post-theatrical OTT deal for an Indian movie in a single language. ## According to Bollywood Hungama, "Dunki" will be streaming on Jio Cinema after its theatrical release.
