Box Office: Gadar 2 Second Thursday Early Estimates

Mumbai, August 24 - Gadar 2 is heading for another good day at the box office, showing a drop of around 15-20% on its second Thursday for an estimated 8-8.50 crores net collection. The movie has ended its second-week run and the business of the second week will be the second highest of all time just after Bahubali: The Conclusion. ## The second Thursday collections will take the total collections of Gadar 2 to around 419cr net box office mark. Gadar 2 will face a challenge tomorrow in the form of Dream Girl 2 and it will be a crucial weekend ahead for the movie. The film is still in the race to cross the legendary 500cr net box office club but the collections of tomorrow will give a fair idea about how far it can reach.## The film has emerged as the all-time blockbuster at the box office and this will be the second all-time blockbuster of the year after Pathaan. Mumbai, August 23 - Gadar 2 continues its excellent trend on the second Wednesday of its box office run as the early estimate collections suggest another double-digit day. The film has shown a drop of around 15%. It is expected to continue with the same momentum for the next couple of days and the third Friday is going to be very crucial for Gadar 2 when Dream Girl 2 will release. ## The early estimate suggests 10-10.50 crores net collection on the film's second Wednesday. Box Office: OMG 2 Second Monday Early Estimates

Mumbai, August 21 - Akshay Kumar's social comedy-drama OMG 2 has a drop of around 70% today on its second Monday which is a bit higher but the overall collection remains decent considering various factors.## Directed by Amit Rai, OMG 2 scored an estimated 3.75 crores net collection on its second Monday/11th day. This takes the total collection to around 117.50 crores net to date. The trend in multiplex centers is strong while mass centers continue to perform low for the movie.## OMG 2 will reach around 125 crores net mark by the end of the second week. Box Office: OMG 2 Second Sunday Early Estimates

Mumbai, August 20 - OMG 2 has a very good second weekend, dropping just around 30% from the first weekend which is a fantastic hold. The movie scored a jump of around 20% on its second Sunday from the second Saturday collection. ## The early estimate suggests a second Sunday/10th-day collection of OMG 2 around 12.50-13 crores net which takes the total collection to over 114 crores net. The second-weekend collection is over 29 crores net which is one of the highest for a mid-budget Bollywood movie this year.## OMG 2 has been excellent in multiplex chains as the majority of its collection has come through those chains while smaller centers continue to remain low due to the domination of Gadar 2. The low performances in single screens have reduced OMG 2 to around its current total otherwise it could have easily around 150 crores net by now. A solo release would have done that for it.## The movie is the first 100 crores net scorer for director Amit Rai as well as Pankaj Tripathi who plays the center role in the movie. Box Office: Gadar 2 Second Saturday Early Estimates; All-Time Biggest 2nd Saturday

Mumbai, August 19 - Gadar 2 runs riot at the box office again on its second Saturday as the film is heading for a massive jump of 55-60% on average which is incredible. The early estimate suggests collection in the range of 32-33 crores net on its second Saturday.## The second Saturday collections will be the biggest ever by a distance and the film is set for the biggest second weekend of all time with around 90 crores box office mark which is historic. The business in the multiplexes has witnessed a huge jump and single screens have also seen a big jump today. ## The total business of Gadar 2 to around 337 crores net. The film surely has a shot at the 500 crores net box office mark from here on and will continue to play in cinemas for quite a long time now. The film is the biggest success post-pandemic for the Hindi film industry.## "Gadar 2" has crossed the lifetime biz of Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and by tomorrow, it will cross "Tiger Zinda Hai" "PK", and "Sanju" to become the 5th biggest Hindi movie of all time at the domestic box office.

Box Office: OMG 2 Second Saturday Early Estimates; Crosses 100 Crores Net

Mumbai, August 19 - Akshay Kumar's social comedy-drama, OMG 2 has crossed 100 crores net collection after the excellent jump on its second Saturday. The jump today is at least 75% and can go up to 85% depending on the performance of the smaller centers.## The early estimates suggest a second Saturday collection of OMG 2 around 10.50-11 crores net and can go higher which remains to see. This takes the total collection to over 101.50 crores net in just 9 days, becoming the first Akshay Kumar-starrer since "Sooryavanshi" to enter the 100 crores net club.## The second weekend of OMG 2 is eyeing around 28-30 crores net which will be a fantastic hold with a drop of just 40% from the opening weekend. The movie, as has been the trend so far, scored a big jump in the multiplex while non-multiplex also witnessed a decent jump today.## OMG 2 will be around 115 crores after the second weekend and now, it will easily cross the 125 crores net mark and has a genuine shot at reaching 150 crores lifetime collection. Box Office: Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani Soars Past 300 Crores Worldwide

Mumbai, August 19 - Filmmaker Karan Johar finally delivers his first 300 crores gross movie at the worldwide box office as a director. Johar's latest hit Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani has crossed this box office milestone as I type this on its 23rd day/4th Saturday.## The Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-fronted romantic family drama movie grossed approximately 167.50 crores (141.27 crores net) at the domestic box office through 4th Friday. It is currently 6th highest-grossing Hindi film of 2023 in India, behind Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar" which grossed 175 crores in March this year.## At the overseas box office, "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani" is sensational and has turned into a blockbuster success. Sunny Deol's War Film 'Border 2' Is In The Early Development

Mumbai, August 19 - Sunny Deol-fronted sequel to his 2001's movie "Gadar: Ek Prem Katha", Gadar 2: The Katha Continues is proving to be a historical success as it has crossed 400 crores at the global box office as I type this. It has turned into one of the biggest blockbusters of all time.## Now, Sunny Deol is gearing up to bring the sequel to his other classic blockbuster, "Border" (1997). According to Pinkvilla, the actor is reuniting with filmmaker JP Dutta for India's biggest war film "Border 2". The makers are in advanced talks with a top studio for the same.## It is said that the makers have been planning to make "Border 2" for the last 2-3 years and things have finally fallen into place as the team is set to make the official announcement soon. It will be set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pak war in 1971.## "Border 2" will be produced by JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta along with a top studio. The report says that the movie will cast a younger generation of actors rather than bringing the original cast back. Vicky Kaushal's 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' Becomes The First Bollywood Film To Get Screened In Manipur In 20 Years

Churachandpur, August 19 - Vicky Kaushal-led military action film "Uri: The Surgical Strike" becomes the first Bollywood movie in 20 years to get screened in Manipur state. ## The movie about surgical strikes against Pakistan-based terrorists was shown in a temporary open-air theatre in Churachandpur on Tuesday, according to ABPLive.## "Uri" marked the return of cinema to the conflict-torn state of Manipur after more than 20 years. The Rengkai (Lamka) screening of the movie saw decent attendance. It was screened by the Hmar Students' Association (HSA). ## The national anthem was played at the outdoor theatre, which is located 63 kilometers from the capital city before the film started. Apart from "Ur", three more Hindi movies will be screened including, the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai".## "Uri", directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by RSVP Movies, is a fictionalized portrayal of the actual event of the response to the 2016 Uri attack. It tells the story of Major Vihaan Shergill of the Para (Special Forces), who played a significant role in the events. ## The movie stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead role alongside Yami Gautam, Mohit Raina, Kirti Kulhari, and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles. Box Office: Gadar 2 Storms Past 300 Crores Net Collection

Mumbai, August 19 - Sunny Deol-led period action drama film "Gadar 2: The Katha Continues" continued its blockbuster run on the second Friday which led it to go past 300 crores net collection. It has become only the second Bollywood movie of the year to hit the triple century mark after Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan".## Directed by Anil Sharma, "Gadar 2" scored 20.50 crores net on its second Friday/8th day which takes its total collection to 305.13 crores net. The 20.50 crores net collection is the biggest second Friday ever in the Hindi language, besting SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2" which minted 19.75 crores net. ## There have been a total of just 12 films in the Hindi language to enter 300 crores net club and "Gadar 2" is the second fastest among them to do so. It took just 8 days to get there, behind "Pathaan" which breached this milestone in just 7 days. Mumbai, August 18 - OMG 2 is set for another solid weekend at the domestic box office after showing a very good hold on its second Friday. The movie is showing no drop from the first Thursday's collection which is a fantastic hold to begin the second frame.## The early estimates suggest collection in the range of 5.50 crores net which takes the total collection to around 91 crores net. The second Friday collection might top the Thursday number depending on the performance of the smaller centers which remains to see.## The second weekend of OMG 2 could be around 25 crores net which is very good.
