Hyderabad, August 6 - Telugu actor Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's much-awaited period action drama film "Devil" confirmed its release date. The movie is directed by Naveen Medaram and produced by Abhishek Nama under the banner of Abhishek Pictures. ## "Devil" was announced in July 2021 with the first look poster and since then, it has been in production. Now, after more than two years, the makers have confirmed its release date to surprise the fans. The movie will be hitting theaters worldwide on November 24, 2023, in multiple languages, including Hindi.## The film, written by Pushpa writer Srikanth Vissa, will depict an unwritten chapter from history with Nandamuri portraying a secret agent named Devil. Hyderabad, August 1 - Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej's fantasy comedy film, "Bro" crashed badly on its first Monday after the good opening weekend collection. The drop on Monday is so bad that it has almost sealed the fate of the movie which needs to score at least 150 crores gross worldwide to break even. ## Directed by Samuthirakani, "Bro" grossed just 4.55 crores domestically on Monday, a sharp huge 77.22% drop from Sunday collection. The total domestic gross collection of the movie stands at approx. 80 crores, including approx. 70 crores in the two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana). The AP-TG gross includes approx. 47 crores share collection while the movie need to score approx. 81 crores share to break even which is looking unlikely now.## The overseas collection of "Bro" is approx. 12 crores in 4 days, and allied to the domestic total, the worldwide gross of the movie stands at approx. 92 crores. It is heading towards finishing as the lowest-grossing film of Pawan Kalyan post the covid-19 pandemic though it has become the highest-grossing film for Sai Dharam Tej, beating his recent blockbuster "Virupaksha" which gross approx. 89 crores worldwide.## The last three films, including "Bro", of Pawan Kalyan were remakes and none of the films could reach break-even. Tokyo, July 25 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan's period action drama film "Rangasthalam" has crossed 1 crore at the Japanese box office after the second weekend. Directed by Sukumar, the movie was released in Japan on July 14, more than 5 years after its original release in 2018.## "Rangasthalam" has taken a decent start in Japan with ¥10.1 million or approx. 60 lakh in the 3-day opening weekend before ending the full week with ¥16.4 million or 95 lakh. Tokyo, July 19 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's period action drama film "Rangasthalam" was released in Japan on July 14 and did decent business in the opening weekend on the limited screens. ## Directed by Sukumar, the all-time blockbuster movie reportedly grossed ¥10.1 million or approx. 60 lacs on its 3-day opening weekend with approx. 7200 admissions. The opening weekend collection of the movie failed to beat the opening day numbers of Ram Charan and Jr. NTR's "RRR" which grossed ¥18 million in October last year.## "Rangasthalam" was released around 70 screens in Japan and grossed 2.5 million yen on its opening day. It is expected to have a good run as the word of mouth among the Japanese audiences is super positive.## Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, "Rangasthalam" was an industry hit during its release in 2018 in Telugu. It grossed over 200 crores at the worldwide box office and became the highest-grossing film in Ram Charan as well as Samantha's career. ## Meanwhile, the all-time blockbuster period action drama Kannada movies, "KGF 1" and "KGF 2", starring superstar Yash were also released in Japan on July 14 and they combined grossed ¥11 million or 65 lacs in the opening weekend with approx. 7840 admissions.## The original KGF movie grossed ¥5.8 million (35 lacs) with 4120 admissions while its sequel earned ¥5.2 million (30 lacs) with 3720 admissions.
