Prabhas' 'Project K' AKA 'Kalki 2898 AD' Glimpse First 24-Hours Views On YouTube

Hyderabad, July 22 - Superstar Prabhas' epic sci-fi mytho film "Kalki 2898 AD" aka "Project K" first look title glimpse has received a blockbuster response from one and all, including those who were skeptical about this mammoth project.

The title glimpse of India's, perhaps the biggest movie to date was launched at the San Diego Comic-Con event at midnight on July 21 (IST) and left everyone stunned in Hall H. The glimpse met an equally positive response from audiences across social media platforms despite a midnight launch.



On YouTube, the first look glimpse scored 12 million views in the first 24 hours on Vyjayanthi Movies YouTube channel. The glimpse has been widely shared by different social media accounts in India and Hollywood media which divided the views. It scored around 10 million views on Prabhas' Instagram account.

"Kalki 2898 AD" title has been taken from one of the names of Lord Vishnu in Hinduism and it is set in the future where a hero rises after the darkness takes control over the world. "Mahanati" fame Nag Ashwin directs this one of the costliest Indian movies ever with an approx. budget of 600 crores ($75 million).

Prabhas plays the lead role alongside Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani in prominent roles. The movie is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and it is scheduled to release in the first half of 2024. There are rumours that it will release in two parts, however, there have been no official words about the same.
