Prabhas' Highly-Anticipated 'Salaar' Set For Wide Overseas Release

Hyderabad, July 17 - The anticipation is building up for the Prabhas-fronted mega movie "Salaar" directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Homable Films. The period action drama film will be released in two parts, with the first part, titled "Salaar Part One - Ceasefire" scheduled to hit big screens on September 28 this year.

"Salaar" will be released in multiple languages, and it is set to be one of the widest releases for an Indian movie. According to the reports, plans are being made to release "Salaar Part 1" in 5000+ locations outside India, which will make it the widest Indian release ever.



In the USA, "Salaar" has been confirmed to release on 1980+ screens and it will be released by Moksha Movies and Prathyangira Cinemas in North America. This is the highest number of locations ever for any Indian film released. The distributors have also been informed that the movie will have a premiere on September 27.

"Salaar" is expected to be a huge money spinner for the makers in India as well as overseas. The first-time combination of Prabhas and Neel has created enough buzz for the movie to take a storming start at the box office worldwide.

Prabhas plays the title role while the movie also has Shruti Haasan as the female lead alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Eeshwari Rao, and others in pivotal roles. Ravi Basrur has scored the music for the film which will also be released in IMAX along with the regular 2D format.
