Scam 1992 Fame Pratik Gandhi And Khushali Kumar Come Together For The First Time For A Family Drama Film

Mumbai, August 10, 2021: After winning accolades with the web series, Scam 1992, actor Pratik Gandhi is all to lead producers Bhushan Kumar, Shaailesh R Singh, and Hansal Mehta's next family drama film. The yet-to-be-titled film will also star Khushali Kumar, who won hearts with her music videos. ## Set in the small town of Uttar Pradesh, this family drama will be helmed by the director of Rajkummar Rao starrer series Bose: Dead or Alive, Pulkit. This is the first time when Gandhi and Khushali coming together in a film that will tell a story of a common man's struggle to fight for what's rightfully his. ## While the film marks the actors' first collaboration together, Bhushan Kumar & Shaailesh R Singh will come together again after working on Kangana Ranaut starrer Simran that was directed by Hansal Mehta and upcoming release Hurdang starring Sunny Kaushal, Nushrratt Bharuccha.## Talking about the film, Bhushan Kumar said, "The story of this film is simple yet very real. Kareena has signed the film which is a gritty thriller, inspired by a real-life incident. The yet-untitled film will be co-produced by Kareena and Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms. ## Having enjoyed an envy-inducing career over the past two decades, Kareena is ready to begin the next chapter of her life. Set in the UK, it's her first venture for the actress since the birth of her second son Jehangir. "I'm honored to work as a producer on this film with Ekta. And now, to make J&K a shooting hub, the government is working towards it taking important steps to invite filmmakers to shoot their projects. ## In this process, Lt governer of J&K Manoj Sinha, the presence of actor Aamir Khan, filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, and producer Mahaveer Jain launched a new Jammu & Kashmir's Film Policy-2021 in Srinagar, on Thursday (August 5). ## "I invite filmmakers from across the world to explore the beauty of J&K. At the same time, also avail a host of incentives, besides world-class facilities", Sinha said. The government has set up a single-window clearance mechanism; prepared equipment, location, and talent directories, besides offering a host of incentives for filmmakers coming to the UT.## The policy will facilitate overall growth of the film industry in the region, setting up of J&K Film Development Council, a website for talent pool and shooting destinations; development of shooting locales, infrastructure for film screening, the revival of closed cinema halls, upgrade of cinema halls, setting up of multiplexes and cinema halls, destination marketing, J&K film festival, and restoration and preservation of J&K films.## "The new policy also aims at maximizing the potential of promising local talent and creating livelihood opportunities. The policy has been drafted after consultation with experts and in-depth study of similar policies of other states/UTs. Suggestions of renowned personalities of the film industry have also been incorporated", the L-G added. ## Sinha said to assist in film shooting, they have manpower of more than 1,500 trained artists which will also provide an opportunity to the local talent. It was a joint operation led by the Indian Navy and Air Force. ## During "Operation Raahat", more than 4,640 Indian citizens in Yemen were evacuated along with 960 foreign nationals from 41 countries. "Operation Raahat" lasted for 11 days from April 1 to April 11.
