Kartik Aaryan To Romance Jawaani Jaaneman Actress Alaya F In Shashanka Ghosh's Romantic Thriller, Freddy!

Mumbai, August 7, 2021: Kartik Aaryan has started shooting for his next film, Freddy. The romantic thriller is being helmed by Veere Di Wedding fame Shashanka Ghosh while Ekta Kapoor and Jay Shewakramani have bankrolled this under their production banner Balaji Telefilms and Northern Lights Films.

And now, the leading lady of the film has been finalized to romance Freddy aka Kartik. According to reports, Jawaani Jaaneman actress, Alaya F, has signed the film. It is Alaya's second film under Ekta Kapoor's banner. She was recently announced to star in the Hindi remake of the Kannada movie, U-Turn.



Freddy is Alaya's third film. She made her debut with Jawaani Jaaneman and later singed U-Turn. She won the Filmfare Award for the best female debut in Jawaani Jaaneman. Freddy is her first collaboration with Kartik. The script of the film is panned by Parveez Shaikh and Aseem Arora.

Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan is excited and looking forward to bringing the romantic thriller to life. "As an actor, I crave to explore different facades of entertainment and with Freddy, I'm venturing into an uncharted territory which is both exciting and intriguing in equal measures. I look forward to dwelling in the world of Freddy and bring alive this dark romantic thriller", she had said in a statement recently.

On Friday (August 6), Kartik took to social media and announced that he has commenced the shooting for "Freddy", which has been close to his heart even before it began, and is happy that the movie comes to life finally.
