Dangal Girl Sanya Malhotra Joins The Cast Of Shah Rukh Khan - Nayanthara's Film With Director Atlee?

Mumbai, August 18, 2021: The fans of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan have been waiting for official updates on his upcoming films, which have been a talk of the town for the last year. Even though the movies are yet to be announced, SRK has reportadly locked his next three films, which promise his return on the big screen with a bang. ## Among the three confirmed films of SRK, his film with Tamil director Atlee has been making a lot of noise for a couple of months now. The movie is believed to be SRK's immediate next after his currently on floors, Pathan, with director Siddharth Anand. Talking about Atlee's film, it will be a Pan-India film that will feature an ensamble cast from Bollywood and South film industry. ## Recently, it was reported that lady superstar Nayanthara approached to play the female lead opposite SRK. While the official confirmation is yet to be made, the actress has been confirmed and set to make her grand Bollywood debut in Atlee's film. Nayanthara has already worked with Atlee in Raja Rani and Bigil, and she is said to be the first choice of director for SRK's film. ## Now, the latest reports say that Dangal fame Sanya Malhotra has also been roped in to join the ensemble team. The actress who's already doing Love Hostel for SRK's banner Red Chillies, will play one of the main characters in this Atlee directorial. She is signed and locked for the film and is very excited to share screen space with the SRK who is set to begin his career's new phase with some global-standard, big-scale, content-driven movies.## Atlee is a popular face down south and has delivered three box office blockbusters with Thalapathy Vijay. He would be hopeful to recreate same magic with SRK's film, which is said to be made in a budget of Rs. 200 crores. The film's pre-production work is already going on in full is expected to kick off by the end of October in Mumbai. ## SRK will also be doing Rajkumar Hirani's social drama film based on immigration. Amitabh Bachchan To Play An Important Role In R Balki's Psychological Thriller Film With Sunny Deol & Dulquer Salmaan

Mumbai, August 17, 2021: Director R. Balki has already started shooting for his next film that is a psychological thriller starring Sunny Deol and Dulquer Salmaan in the lead roles. The yet-to-be-titled film is the first directorial venture for Balki after Akshay Kumar starrer Padman. ## Meanwhile, ever since the movie was announced, there were rumors that legendary Amitabh Bachchan is also a part of the film considering that he shares a good rapport with the filmmaker and has done guest appearances in Balki's previous films too. Well, the filmmaker has now himself confirmed that Big B is indeed an important part of the film and that his role will be decisive. ## Speaking about Big B's role in the film, the director told Spotboye, "He has to be there. I've cast him in every single film of mine beginning with Cheeni Kum where he was the lead to Pad Man where he made a special appearance. In my thriller, Mr. Bachchan will come in at a crucial juncture in the plot. His presence would be decisive, as it always is in my cinema. I'd never cast him just for the sake of casting him". ## Balki is directing Sunny Deol for the first time. Speaking about his decision of casting Sunny in his film, the Paa director said, "I've never worked with him. I don't know why I thought of him. But this was a role that needed a man with an understated machismo. Strong yet vulnerable. A man of a few words whose presence alone makes people pay attention to him. Sunny can command respect without raising his voice or fists. I wanted that personality for this character". ## The film will also have his first collaboration with Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salmaan. "Dulquer is one of the most talented actors today. I wanted to work with him for the longest time. This thriller requires Dulquer presence. Recently, it was reported that Badhaai Ho actor would be reuniting with Anand L Rai for a multi-genre film, which Rai would produce. ## Now, the latest development suggests that Ayushmann's film with Rai is a big-scale action film, which will mark the actor's first attempt in the action genre. Mumbai, August 16, 2021: Earlier in May this year, it was reported that Riteish Deshmukh would be making his digital debut with Netflix. The details about the project were revealed much but it was reported that Veere Di Wedding director Shashanka Ghosh would be helming the film which was said to be a romantic-comedy. ## Well, it has been confirmed now, and the movie has been titled "Plan A Plan B". Tamannaah Bhatia will be starring as the female lead alongside Riteish Deshmukh. Riteish is playing a matchmaker while Tamannah essays the role of a divorce lawyer. Mumbai, August 15, 2021: One of the leading Bollywood film producers, Karan Johar's recently produced "Shershaah" is getting rave reviews. The movie, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, is based on the life of army captain Vikram Batra who sacrificed his life during the Kargil War. Before Shershaah, Karan had produced patriotic films like the Raazi, Kesari, and Gunjan Saxena, which became blockbusters. ## Now, according to reports, the renowned filmmaker is developing a script on the life of freedom fighter Usha Mehta, under his production banner Dharma Productions. Usha Mehta was a Gandhian and freedom fighter of India who ran an underground pirate radio called Congress Radio during the Quit India Movement and gave tough time to the British Government. ## Post-Independence, Usha Mehta was conferred with Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian award of India. Aditi Rao Hydari To Feature Alongside Vijay Sethupathi In Zee Studios' Pan-India Silent Film 'Gandhi Talks'?

The film is said to be a dark comedy with elements from Mahatma Gandhi's principles as the backdrop. It depicts the harsh realities of today's times and how Gandhi has become a prime witness of everything that he stood against. ## Gandhi Talks will be produced by Zee Studios in association with Movie Mill Entertainment. The film marks Sethupathi and Hydari's second collaboration after Mani Ratnam's critically acclaimed 2018 gangster drama, Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, which also starred Silambarasan, Arvind Swami, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Aishwarya Rajesh, among others in prominant roles. ## The Oscar winner A.R. Rahman will be composing the background score for the film. It is a Pan-India film that will release in six languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam, and Kannada. Gandhi Talks is the first multi-lingual silent feature film in 34 years. Kamal Haasan's career-defining 1987 black comedy, Pushpak, was the last noteworthy dialogue-free film to be released in various languages across India. ## It is reported that director Kishor Belekar has spent 19 years on the script of the film, which is finally set to take off. Mumbai, August 13, 2021: Earlier this year, the director Siddharth Anand announced his collaboration with actors Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. The film, titled "Fighter", is to be India's first-ever aerial action-thriller franchise, for which, Anand joined hands with Viacom18 Studios to produce the movie. ## Initially, the movie was announced with the release date, which was September 30, 2022. Ammy Virk And Sonam Bajwa Starrer 'Puaada' Brings Audience Back To Theaters

Chandigarh, August 13, 2021: The first big Punjabi movie in one and a half years, Puaada starring Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa takes a good start at the box office upon its release on August 12. The rom-com hasn't got a wider release due to restrictions but it has done well to bring the audience to the theaters. ## The film has been released in around 75 theatres only when normally it would be around 175 in East Punjab. With the help of decent buzz before its release, the movie sold around 2800 tickets to PVR cinemas before its release which is on par with the 2020 Punjabi release, Sufna. Sufna also had sold 2800 tickets in PVR before release. ## Puaada saw good footfalls on day 1 even without three key properties including the highest collecting cinema for Punjabi films PVR Mohali and also no night shows in Delhi or Chandigarh. After seeing the good response on the first day, more and more shows and theaters are expected to come into play in the coming days. ## There were some multiplexes that recorded around 100 audience counts in the morning shows while single screens and non-national multiplex chains were even better as they recorded audience counts of 200 and even full houses. The collection of the movie is expected to remain low due to limited release in the first couple of days but it should pick up the pace over the weekend as more theaters and shows will be added. ## Irrespective of what will be the collection of Puaada, the audience is coming to theaters which is a good sign and a big boost to upcoming Hindi films. Mumbai, August 11, 2021: Filmmaker Amar Kaushik's thriller project, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga, which was supposed to take off in 2017 with John Abraham and Rajkummar Rao and producers Prerna Arora and Arjun N Kapoor, has reportedly been revived with a new cast and team. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, Sunny Kaushal and Yami Gautam have been finalized to play the lead in this reanimated version of the film that has been written by Siraj Ahmed who recently wrote Srijit Mukherji's short film in Netflix anthology Ray starring Ali Fazal and Shweta Basu Prasad. ## Amar Kaushik, however, will reportadly not be directing Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga anymore, instead, he will work as a creative producer on this film while the directorial duty has been given to Ajay Singh, better known as Ajax. Kaushik is collaborating with producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films to back this thriller based on a diamond heist. ## Interestingly, both Yami Gautam and Sunny Kaushal are already working on revived projects after they were earlier shelved due to various reasons. Yami is committed to her husband Aditya Dhar's Raat Baaki which is finally being made after five years while Sunny has signed Navdeep Singh's long-in-the-making Kaneda that will go on floors once the travel restrictions for India are lifted in Canada. ## Stay tuned...

Shershaah Premiere: Sidharth Malhotra And Kiara Advani Starrer Screened At PVR In Delhi Ahead Of Digital Release

Delhi, August 10, 2021: It was the day of the big screen premiere of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani starrer, Shershaah, ahead of its worldwide release on August 12 on Amazon Prime Video. The makers held a special screening for VIPs at Chanakya PVR theater in Delhi last night (August 9) for army captain and Param Veer Chakra Awardee, Vikram Batra's biopic. ## Directed by Vishnu Varadhan and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions in association with Kaash Entertainment, the makers booked three screens in the plex - one for Captain Vikram Batra's family clan, the other for Army personnel, and the third for Sidharth Malhotra and his friends-n-relatives.## Since the movie is very much concerned with the Indian army, the reaction from army officials was largely positive and they loved the movie. Jee Le Zaraa: Priyanka Chopra Recalls Approaching Farhan Akhtar With Alia Bhatt And Katrina Kaif To Helm An All Female-Led Film

Mumbai, August 10, 2021: Earlier in the day (August 10), Farhan Akhtar announced his next film that will mark her directorial return after Don 2 (2021). Led by an all-female cast including Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif, the movie titled, Jee Le Zaraa, will be a road-trip film that will go on floors in mid next year and will hit cinemas in 2023. ## A few hours after the movie announcement, Priyanka Chopra took to Instagram and recalled that it was a movie that was planned last year in February before the covid-19 pandemic forced a strict nationwide lockdown. She shared a picture with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif which was clicked in February 2020 when they first met to discuss a film with an all-female cast. ## Priyanka Chopra revealed that she wanted to do a very different Hindi film as soon as possible after The Sky Is Pink, and called up her 2 real friends, Katrina and Alia to discuss the same. They approached Farhan with the idea who was coincidentally planning a female road trip movie at the same time. ## "Let's rewind, to me musing about wanting to do another Hindi movie ASAP, on an unusually rainy night in Mumbai in Nov 2019", PC wrote on Insta. "But it had to be the right one - different, cool, never been done before… I thought. The idea grew into a movie helmed by an all-female cast. There are not enough Hindi movies that are female multi-starrers. This led to an impulsive phone call… to my 2 real friends about this idea that involved 3 on-screen girlfriends. A celebration of friendship we called it!!". ## "Katrina, Alia, and I enthusiastically met in February 2020 (as seen in this picture), just before the world shut down, to discuss who we could trust to bring this vision to life for us and our choice was unanimous… Farhan and Ritesh, Zoya and Reema. Mumbai, August 10, 2021: Farhan Akhtar is all set to return to the direction with a bang. The star filmmaker announced his next directorial, titled - Jee Le Zaraa, boost with a solid cast including Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif, coming together for the first time. ## Having already explored the road trip films with Dil Chahta Hai and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Farhan Akshatar's Jee Le Zaraa falls in the same genre with the girls this time. The announcement came on the 20th anniversary of Akhtar's directorial debut movie, Dil Chahta Hai. ## Jee Le Zaraa is written by Zoyaa Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar, and Reema Kagti while it will be produced by Reema Kagti, Zoya Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, and Farhan Akhtar under their banners Tiger Baby, and Excel Entertainment. It will go on floors in Portugal on Sept. 5.
