Akshay Kumar Shares His First Look As He Begins Shooting For 'Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat'
Mumbai, December 6 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar started shooting for his maiden Marathi movie, Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat, on Tuesday. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, the movie is a period drama in which Akshay plays the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. ## On Tuesday (December 6), Akshay Kumar announced via social media that he has started shooting for the movie and also shared the first look glimpse of his character. The "Ram Setu" actor said that it is an honor for him to play this iconic and he will try his best to justify the role. ## The Marathi film also stars Jay Dudhane, Utkarsha Shinde, Vishal Nikam, Virat Madke, Hardik Joshi, Satya, Akshay, Nawab Khan, and Praveen Tarde.
