Mumbai, October 23 - Superstar Prabhas is celebrating his 43rd birthday today and to make this special, T-Series launched a new poster of Adipurush, featuring Prabhas in the title role. The movie is directed by Om Raut whose last directorial, "Tanhaji" was a massive hit. ## The birthday poster of Prabhas in Adipurush gives the divine look at the actor's characters as Shree Ram with Vanar Sena in the background. Prabhas is seen wearing a saffron vest and white dhoti and sporting long hair. Lighting in the burning sky is seen in the background along with his Vanar Sena. Mumbai, October 22 - Superstar Salman Khan and filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya is one of the most successful combos in Bollywood history. The duo's maiden collaboration, "Maine Pyar Kiya" (1989), which also marked Barjatya's directorial debut, was a massive blockbuster at the box office. ## After MPK, Salman and Sooraj reunited for one of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters of all time, "Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!" (1994), which gave birth to the family drama genre. Later, the duo worked together on two more films "Hum Saath-Saath Hain" and "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" and both were super hits. ## Now, according to the latest buzz, Salman and Sooraj Barjatya are set to join forces for their 5th film. Sooraj Barjatya is currently busy with the promotion of "Uunchai", starring Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Donzongpa, and Prineeti Chopra. It is scheduled to release on November 11. ## During the promotion, Barjatya revealed that Salman wanted to be a part of "Uunchai" but he rejected saying that there are older lead characters in the film. RRR Japan Box Office Collection: Takes Biggest Opening For An Indian Movie

Tokyo, October 22 - SS Rajamouli's global blockbuster RRR was released in Japan on October 21, and not so surprisingly, it took the biggest opening for an Indian film over there. As per reports, the movie grossed a solid ¥18 million (Rs. 1.06 crores) on the opening day.## As per the records available, "RRR" took the biggest opening, beating Prabhas-fronted Saaho which grossed approx. 90 lakh on an opening day upon its release in Japan in 2020. "RRR" has been released in Japan amid huge anticipation and is tracking to gross ¥60 million (Rs. 3.35 crores) in the opening weekend.## The Jr. NTR and Ram Charan-fronted period action drama film is looking to become the highest-grossing Indian film in Japan. Los Angeles, October 22 - Dwayne Johnson's much-awaited superhero debut in DC's Black Adam met with nasty reception from critics on the review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes with overall critics' score stands at just 44% from 198 reviews while the same is just 30% by 53 top RT critics' reviews.## Meanwhile, "Black Adam's" audience score is more than double that of critics' with an overall 91% from 10K+ ratings while the same is 88% from 1K+ verified ratings on Rotten Tomatoes. This is a massive gap between critics and audience's scores for "Black Adam", however, is not completely surprising knowing the fact that most Comic Book movies have been received in the same way in the past. ## Comic book superhero movies have always pulled large crowds to the theaters irrespective of the critics' reviews and "Black Adam" might be just another film on the list with the mighty support of Johnson's massive worldwide fan following. ## Both Johnson and Warner Bros. are betting big on The Man in Black, and the initial box office numbers are encouraging as well. As per reports, Disney has reportedly green-lit Brahmastra Part 2 - Dev and is in the process of allotting a budget for the movie with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. Mithran, "Sardar" is a spy thriller film, and going by the reactions from the audience, the movie has been able to leave a mark. Malayalam Director In Talks To Direct Sony Pictures' 'Shaktimaan' Trilogy

Mumbai, October 20 - It has been nearly 8 months since Sony Pictures India in association with Mukesh Khanna's Bheeshm International, and Brewing Thoughts Private Limited announced big screen adaptation of the popular television superhero show Shaktimaan. ## Ever since the announcement, the makers have been searching for a director to helm this trilogy, and it seems they have finally found the one. According to Pinkvilla, Malayalam director Basil Joseph, who directed the critically acclaimed desi superhero movie "Minnal Murali", is in the advance talks to helm "Shaktimaan" trilogy. ## The report says that Basil is himself a huge Shaktimaan fan and has shown keen interest in directing this film. ## "The director has already met the Shaktimaan team multiple times and is keen to come on board the film. The producers have asked Basil to come up with his own version of the screenplay to know if he is on the same wavelength as the team on the visual and story-telling front", Pinkvilla reports.## The "Shaktimaan" trilogy will be made on a huge budget and the makers are looking for the best artists to come on board the film. The makers are believed to be in talks with several directors and Basil is the front-runner to be at the helm of affairs, as all the meetings have met with a positive response.## Meanwhile, the makers are yet to lock in the lead actor to play this iconic role which made the childhood of the 90s kids awesome.
