Hyderabad, March 20 - Telugu actor Nithiin and actress Rashmika Mandanna are all set to reunite for a new feature film. It will be directed by Venky Kudumula who made his debut with the romantic comedy "Chalo" which also happened to be Rashmika's Telugu debut film. ## The yet-untitled movie will mark the second time collaboration of Nithiin and Rashmika after the superhit "Bheeshma" (2020). Interestingly, the movie was directed by Venky Kudumula and now, the trio is reuniting for another film. ## According to the reports, the movie will officially be launched on March 24 and a small glimpse video is expected to be released on March 30 with the announcement of shoot commencement. Shazam Fury Of The Gods Underperforms At The Worldwide Box Office

Los Angeles, March 19 - DC Studios' latest superhero movie, Shazam Fury Of The Gods fails to fly high at the domestic (North America) as well as the overseas box office and fell short of the expectations. ## The sequel to the successful 2019's film opened at number 1 on the domestic opening weekend with $30.5 million, according to Variety. It was, however, projected to start with around $40 million, which was still lower than the opening of its predecessor which debuted with $53.50 million. ## Not only just domestically, but the Shazam sequel also opened lower than expected internationally, grossing $35 million from 77 markets for a global start of $65.5 million. It was projected for, at least, an $80+ million worldwide launch. ## The buzz for Shazam 2 was already low and the critics' reviews too were against it which made the job tougher for it. It landed a B+ CinemaScore, down from the first film's A grade. And it holds 53% on Rotten Tomatoes, an epic decline from the original's 90% average. ## Among the overseas markets of Shazam 2, China leads with a $4.4 million opening weekend, followed by Mexico with $4 million and the UK with $3 million. India is the 7th biggest overseas market of the movie with a $1.2 million weekend.## Hollywood trade experts believe that Fury Of The Gods might struggle to reach even $200 million worldwide, which will be a disastrous result for a $110 million budgeted flick. ## Stay tuned...

Bengaluru, March 19 - Actor and filmmaker Rishab Shetty's all-time Kannada blockbuster Kantara has been confirmed to release in Italy and Spain in their native languages. ## Directed by Shetty, Kantara was one of the biggest blockbusters of 2022 with a worldwide gross collection of over 400 crores. It was made on a budget of approx. 15 crores and was released in the original language initially but became a nationwide sensation after releasing in other Indian languages. ## Overseas, it did business of approx. 44 crores and now, the makers want to cash in on the opportunity by releasing the movie in other international markets. The dubbing work to release in Italian and Spanish language is currently going on and the release date will be announced soon. ## Produced by Hombale Films, the film stars Shetty as a Kambala champion who is at loggerheads with an upright forest officer, Murali (played by Kishore). Mumbai, March 18 - Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor-fronted romantic-comedy Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar continues to remain the first choice of moviegoers for the second weekend in a row. The movie is putting up good day-wise numbers at the box office. ## Directed by Luv Ranjan, TJMM witnessed a big jump of around 65% on the second Saturday and scored 6.03 crores net, pushing the total net collection to 101.98 crores in 11 days. It has crossed 100 crores net, the second film in a row for Ranbir to do so after Brahmastra Part One: Shiva. ## TJMM is also the only 7th Bollywood and 9th Hindi language movie to reach 100 crores net in the post covid-19 pandemic era. Produced by T-Series and Luv Films, TJMM has no real competition until Ajay Devgn's Bholaa arrives on march 30. Tokyo, March 18 - SS Rajamouli's Oscar-winning blockbuster RRR is having a dream run at the Japan box office. Despite being in its 22nd week, the period action drama is putting insane numbers and has now crossed the historic milestone of $10 million there. ## Released in October last year, the Jr. NTR and Ram Charan-fronted flick has so far collected approx. ¥1360 million or $10.13 million or INR 84 crores in 21 weeks. The collection of RRR witnessed a huge jump in its 21st week after the film's Oscar win. ## It is insane that the 21st-week collection (¥125 million) of RRR is the highest so far in its box office run in Japan and it is almost 6 times higher than the 9th week of collection (¥21 million) which is the lowest week-wise total of the movie so far. ## At one point, it was looking difficult for RRR to even cross ¥500 million after the slow start in Japan. However, ever since the movie started making noise in award seasons, the collections started soaring and eventually hit the coveted ¥1 billion mark and now, it is heading towards ¥1.5 billion, possibly by next week. ## The total worldwide collection of RRR now stands at approx. 1210 crores, becoming the 3rd highest-grossing Indian movie ever. And now, it has received ultimate praise from one of the biggest movie stars in the world, Tom Cruise. ## Tom Cruise is said to be an actor who is very hard to please but even he couldn't stop himself from raving about "The Flash" after reportedly watching it privately. ## According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cruise has seen the movie and loved it so much that he called the movie's director, Andy Muschietti, to rave about it. It is said that the superstar had a meeting with Warner Bros. Real love is a Pathaan; Real love is Ranbir's film now (Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar), getting the kind of love with the audiences that want to pay to see them", Shetty said.## The actor further decoded the reasons behind the successes of Pathaan and TJMM and said that it is probably because of the less social appearance of SRK and Ranbir.
