Mumbai, May 4 - Yash Raj Films is reportedly working on a female-led spy action thriller film with Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone. Both Katrina and Deepika have been an important part of YRF's Spy Universe and now, the studio is planning to make a proper big-budget film, revolving around their characters in this blockbuster universe. ## Katrina has played the role of ISI agent Zoya in the two Salman Khan-fronted "Tiger" movies in YRF's Spy Universe while Deepika was introduced in Shah Rukh Khan-led "Pathaan" in which she played the role of ISI agent Rubai. ## The details regarding the project have been kept under wraps for now. The timeline regarding where the movie will fit in Spy Universe is also not known yet. It is in early development and will take time before going on the floors. ## Meanwhile, the next film in YRF's Spy Universe is Salman Khan-fronted "Tiger 3" which releases this Diwali in multiple languages. The events of "Tiger 3" will lead to Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR-starrer "War 2" which will start filming in November this year. Hrithik Roshan Locks A Blockbuster Line-Up After 'Fighter'

Mumbai, May 3 - After the debacle box office performance of "Vikram Vedha", Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan is hoping to turn the tide with Fighter, co-starring Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, which is currently in production for January 2024 release. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Fighter" is shaping up nicely and is among the most anticipated Indian movies at the moment. The aerial action thriller is being shot on a huge scale on par with Hollywood action films. The plot details have been kept under wraps for now but "Fighter" is already being seen as a huge money spinner for the makers. ## After "Fighter", Hrithik is in no mood to turn his head away from big-scale action entertainers as he has locked action-packed blockbusters for the next few years. Most of the shoot of "Fighter" is already completed and the makers are hoping to wrap it by June. After this, Hrithik will move to Yash Raj Films' War 2. ## The spy action thriller "War" is already an established brand after its blockbuster success in 2019, and now, YRF is making sure the sequel reaches the next level. The studio is planning to make "War 2" on a bigger scale than the first film and has roped in one of the biggest South Indian superstars Jr. NTR to headline it with Hrithik. ## The inclusion of Jr. NTR has made "War 2" a proper blue Pan India film that will be helmed by "Brahmastra" director Ayan Mukerji. Apart from being a sequel to a highly successful film, "War 2" is a part of YRF's highly successful ambitious spy universe. It will follow the events of Salman Khan-fronted "Tiger 3" which releases on Diwali this year. The shoot for "War 2" begins in November this year. ## After "War 2", Hrithik will headline his home production's Krrish 4 which is easily the most-awaited film of him. The 4th installment of the superhero franchise was announced way back in 2016 but it couldn't get on the floor due to some reasons. It is now moving forward as Rakesh Roshan has locked the basic story and is working on the screenplay. ## The official announcement is yet to be made but it is said that Karan Malhotra, who previously directed Hrithik Roshan in "Agneepath" (2012), will be directing the upcoming superhero sequel. Rakes Roshan, who directed the earlier three films, will be monitoring the progress of the movie this time around. Bellamkonda Sreenivas' Telugu films have garnered massive viewership on YouTube in the dubbed Hindi version, however, those don't guarantee at the box office. ## BS Sreenivas is not a popular name among Hindi audiences, but the actor is leaving no stone unturned to leave a mark on his Bollywood debut. Mil Gaya (2003) have combined grossed around 600 crores worldwide. ## The last film in the franchise, Krrish 3 was released way back in 2013 and since then, the fans have been waiting for the 4th installment to unfold. The makers announced Krrish 4 in 2016 with a release planned for Christmas 2018.## It has been a long time since the movie was announced but it hasn't taken off. The covid-19 pandemic further delayed the plans, but now, it seems the movie is finally moving forward and is getting ready to commence filming in 2024. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, producer and the creator of Krrish, Rakesh Roshan has roped in director Karan Malhotra to helm the fourth installment of the Krrish franchise. Hrithik and Karan had previously worked together in the blockbuster "Agneepath" (2012). ## Rakesh Roshan has locked in the basic plot to take the story forward and is currently working on the screenplay with a team of writers. Karan Malhotra will soon join the team and jointly work with the filmmaker to bring out a visual spectacle to the audience. ## Rakesh Roshan previously said that "Krrish 4" will set new standards for the superhero genre in India. Mumbai, May 1 - Superstar Salman Khan-fronted family action drama film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaaan has crossed the 100 crores net collection. ## Directed by Farhad Samji, KKBKKJ should have entered the 100 crore club in the opening week itself, but due to the poor reviews and mixed word of mouth, the movie couldn't get going after the Eid holiday period. ## The film crossed the 100 crores mark on its 10th day, after scoring approx. 4.35 crores net on its second Sunday. It has become the 3rd Bollywood movie of 2023 to reach this box office milestone after Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" and Ranbir Kapoor's "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar". ## "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan", produced by Salman Khan Films and Zee Studios, is the 106th Bollywood movie of all time and the 16th of Salman Khan to enter the 100 crores club. Salman Khan has now the highest number of films in the coveted box office club, surpassing Akshay Kumar who has 15 films in the 100 crores club. ## Meanwhile, at the worldwide box office, KKBKKJ has reached approx. 164 crores gross, including approx. 45 crores overseas box office collection. Mumbai, April 29 - Amid the rumors around superstar Salman Khan's next film after Tiger 3, the actor has himself confirmed that producer Karan Johar of Dharma Productions has offered him a film that could be his next. ## During the Aap Ki Adalat episode with anchor Rajat Sharma, Salman was asked if he is doing a film with Karan Johar, to which, the superstar said that Karan recently called him for a film script which he liked and is going to do that.## It has also been reported that "Shershaah" director Vishnuvardhan is attached to direct this mass entertainer. Salman, however, didn't confirm whether Johar's movie will be his immediate next after "Tiger 3" or will be made later on but reports have stated that it will be released on Eid next year, and the shoot for the same will commence soon. ## Salman, meanwhile, also has a film with Sooraj Barjatya titled "Prem Ki Shaadi". The divinity of the poster is clearly visible and the makers have done well in detailing things. The color grading is also perfect. ## ## The second poster shows Kriti Sanon sitting with teary eyes in Lanka while Ram and Laxman (Sunny Singh) are searching for her. The pre-production also commenced while the makers were in the process to lock the other cast. ## Now, according to Peepingmoon.com, the makers have roped in National Crush Rashmika Mandanna to play the female lead role, making her first big screen appearance with Vicky Kaushal. She has been brought on board to play the role of Sambhaji Maharaj's wife, Yesubai Bhonsale. ## The movie is primarily about Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of the Maratha empire's founder and the great warrior king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. However, it also features an emotional love story between a husband and wife. Sambhaji Raje and his wife jointly held the throne as the emperor. ## Rashmika, who is actively working across multiple industries, was said to be the only choice of the makers for the female lead role and was locked following her look test recently. The report further revealed that Rashmika will receive voice coaching while Vicky will train for four months to become proficient in sword fighting, horseback riding, and archery for this movie. ## "Chhava" is believed to be the most expensive production yet for Vijan's Maddock Films which has sanctioned a huge budget to make this film a truly visual extravaganza. Mumbai, April 28 - Filmmaker Aditya Dhar has been working on his passion project The Immortal Ashwatthama for a long time. It was announced in January 2021 with Vicky Kaushal as the lead. RSVP was on board to produce this mega-budget movie. ## However, the movie has been in trouble which eventually led RSVP to back out as the studio was unable to allot the huge budget Dhar was asking for. Vicky Kaushal too left the movie due to his other commitments. Just when the movie was on the verge of getting shelved, Dhar tried to revive the project by offering it to Ranveer Singh by bringing Jio Studios on board to produce. ## Well, it seems the movie is still not finding its place as the latest reports state that Jio Studios too backed out, and the movie has been shelved for the time being. According to Peepingmoon.com, the studio didn't approve the budget Dhar was asking for as there is a risk involved in making films with huge budgets in the post-pandemic times. ## The report further stated Aditya Dhar has halted the pre-production work and the crew involved with this film has also been relieved now as he understands that there is definitely a big risk with this project. However, "The Immortal Ashwatthama" is Dhar's passion project and he will definitely return to bring it to the big screen but not right now. ## Over the last one year, the movie has been offered to many actors, including Yash, Allu Arjun, and Jr. NTR, but things didn't materialize with them.
