The period action drama film will be released in two parts, with the first part, titled "Salaar Part One - Ceasefire" scheduled to hit big screens on September 28 this year. ## "Salaar" will be released in multiple languages, and it is set to be one of the widest releases for an Indian movie. According to the reports, plans are being made to release "Salaar Part 1" in 5000+ locations outside India, which will make it the widest Indian release ever. ## In the USA, "Salaar" has been confirmed to release on 1980+ screens and it will be released by Moksha Movies and Prathyangira Cinemas in North America. Mumbai, July 15 - The makers of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal's Pan India movie "Vrushabha" has locked the female lead cast. Directed by Nanda Kishore, who directed the hit Kannada movie "Pogaru", the film is an epic action-entertainer transcending generations. ## The makers have roped in Shanaya Kapoor and Pop Diva Zahrah S Khan to play the female lead opposite Telugu actor Roshann Meka in the movie. Makers' Huge Demand For 'Salaar' Theatrical Rights In Telugu States?

Hyderabad, July 9 - After shattering box office records with "KGF: Chapter 2" last year, director Prashanth Neel's next blockbuster "Salaar" with one of the biggest Indian superstars Prabhas is having huge anticipation as the release date getting nearer. ## The teaser of the movie was recently launched which has raised anticipation, not just among the fans, but also in the trade which is expecting the movie to do wonders at the box office. As the pre-release buzz has escalated, the makers of "Salaar" have reportedly started negotiating for the film's theatrical rights. ## As per the buzz in the Telugu trade, the makers are demanding as high as 190-200 crores for theatrical rights in the two Telugu states, including around 70 crores alone in the Nizam region. The asking price for the Ceded area is said to be around 35 crores while the same is around 90 crores in Andhra Pradesh, according to a report from Track Tollywood. ## The aforementioned quoted amount is in the lines of SS Rajamouli's "RRR" starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan which the movie easily covered and gave the buyers huge profit. However, in the case of "Salaar", the buyers are reportedly hesitant as a couple of recent films of Prabhas didn't do the expected business and ended up as loss ventures in Telugu states. ## There is no doubt "Salaar" will take a huge opening nationwide as the combination of Prashanth Neel and Prabhas, backed by a reputed production house which is Hombale Films, is too big to go unnoticed. However, after facing back-to-back losses, the buyers might find it difficult to commit to the high demand for theatrical rights even though they are aware it is a big box office tentpole movie. ## As confirmed by the makers with the teaser itself, "Salaar" will be released in two parts with the first part, titled "Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire", slated for September 28, 2023, release in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. California, July 6 - Superstar Prabhas-fronted hugely-anticipated sci-fi epic "Project K" is going global as the makers are gearing up to unveil exclusive footage as well as the title and the release date of the film in the presence of talent at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), according to Variety. ## Vyjayanthi Movies will unveil the first look glimpse of the film at an opening night party on July 19. On July 20, the "Project K" team will host a panel titled "This is Project K: First Glimpse of India's Mytho-Sci-fi Epic" with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Haasan during which the film's full title, teaser trailer, and release date will be revealed. ## "This exclusive event will transport guests into India's most ambitious cinematic universe yet with their captivating storytelling, futuristic setting, and 'Spice Punk' aesthetic inspired by the film", said producer C. Aswani Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies in a statement. ## Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan among others will also feature in a performance on SDCC's largest stage. The makers have kept mum on the film's premise although a few character details have been revealed in the media. ## As the release date is getting nearer, the latest details from the movie hint that "Project K" is a much bigger movie than what we have heard so far. Previously, it was revealed that legendary Amitabh Bachchan's role is inspired by Ashwatthama from Mahabharata, and now, the details of Prabhas' character have also reportedly been revealed. ## According to senior journalist Daamu Balaji (via Thyview), Prabhas' character is inspired by Lord Vishnu in modern times.
