Andhra Pradesh CM Writes PM Modi For Bharat Ratna To The Late SP Balasubramanyam

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, requesting him to honor the legendary playback singer, the late S.P. Balasubramanyam, with India's highest civilian honour – the Bharat Ratna for his contribution to music and arts.## "As a tribute to the legendary singer for his outstanding contribution in the field of music and art, I request you to confer Bharat Ratna award upon him", wrote Reddy.## He reminded the Prime Minister that music stalwarts such as Lata Mangeshkar, Bhupen Hazarika, M.S. Subbulakshmi, Bismillah Khan, and Bhimsen Joshi were also conferred with the Bharat Ratna.## "This will be the highest recognition to his remarkable work which lasted for five decades and stays in our memory forever", he added.## Justifying his request, the CM said that the late singer was awarded many national and state awards and sung over 40,000 songs which is a record. ## "He won six national film awards for best male playback singer for his work, 25 AP state Nandi awards for his work in Telugu cinema, and numerous other state awards in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu", he said, among other awards.## Born in the Nellore district of southern Andhra Pradesh, Balasubramanyam passed away on Friday at the age of 74 in a Chennai hospital due to the covid-19.## Stay tuned...

They observed the reserve forest from a temporary watchtower, later planted few saplings in the Reserve forest region. ## The superstar also showed his willingness to donate more money if required to give a push to the Green India Challange which he took in June 2020. He vowed to adopt 1,000 acres of reserve forest whenever Santhosh Kumar suggests. The duo is collaborating for the second time after producing the biggest hit of Pawan Kalyan's career "Gabbar Singh". Upcoming Telugu Movie 'V' Shot Across 5 Indian States And One International Location

One of the most-awaited Telugu movies, "V" starring Nani was recently announced for the OTT release. The coronavirus pandemic has had a lasting impact on the movie as it ditched the conventional theatrical release and will now stream on Amazon Prime Video from September 5. ## Talking about the movie, the Telugu biggie was shot across the five Indian states including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, and Maharashtra along with Thailand, making it quite a challenge for the makers. ## "The film was shot in five states and one international location. Our intent was to create a consistent visual experience and color palette for our viewers, generally, you will see inconsistencies in the color palette. From night to day shots we wanted the entire grid to be consistent", director Mohana Krishna said to IANS.## "We, therefore, took a lot of care in the costume designing, in production design, the kind of clothes we want to avoid, the kind of colors we want to avoid, and it had to match with completely different locations".## "Goa is completely warm, and Mumbai is both humid and warm, and Thailand is tropical while Manali which is extremely cold, across these many locations and climates, we wanted to create a visually seamless experience for our viewers", he added. ## It is Nani's 25th film as an actor, in which he plays an antagonist for the first time in his career. The movie starred Nani and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles while Sathyaraj, Sampath Raj, Jayaprakash, Rao Ramesh, Viswant Duddumpudi, and Sanusha have played supporting roles.## Jersey is a story about an ex-cricketer named Arjun who gives up on his dream and marries his girlfriend Sarah. But when his son asks him for an Indian cricket team jersey for his birthday, Arjun who's on a suspension from his government job decides to pick up the bat again at the age of 36. Later the story tells about how he achieved his dream and fulfill his son's wish.## Nani has played the role of the cricketer Arjun while Shraddha Srinath plays his wife and Sathyaraj his mentor.
