Kiara Advani To Play Female Lead Opposite Jr. NTR In Koratala Siva's Directorial?

Hyderabad, June 13, 2021: In April this year, Telugu superstar Jr. NTR announced that he will be collaborating with the director, Koratala Siva for his next film, tentatively titled NTR30. The yet-untitled film marks the second collaboration between NTR and Siva after their blockbuster, Janatha Garage (2016). ## Now, it is being reported that Kabir Singh actress, Kiara Advani has been cast to play the female lead opposite Jr. NTR in NTR30. Koratala and Kiara had previously collaborated for Mahesh Babu fronted, Bharat Ane Nenu which marked the debut of the actress in Tollywood. NTR30 will also be the first time when Kiara will share screen space with Jr. NTR. ## The reports are also claiming that Jr. NTR is also in favor of roping Kiara Advani for the female lead role. While the official announcement is yet to be made, Kiara, who completed 7 years in the film industry on June 13, has hinted about returning to the Tollywood film industry, and there is hardly any surprise which film is going to mark her comeback in Telugu. ## Taking to Twitter, Kiara was responding to a user who wishes to see the actress come back to South cinema and do more films. Keerthy's Good Luck Sakhi, a romantic sports comedy was all set to be released theatrically on 3 June 2021, however, the second wave of the covid-19 pandemic played a spoilsport as makers had to postpone it further. ## Now, as theaters are closed again and the movie is ready for release for quite some time now, there are rumours that Good Luck Sakhi is going for a direct-to-digital release. However, on Monday (June 7), the makers of the film quashed the rumours of releasing their film directly to a streaming service. However, the Telugu film industry did refrain from adopting this medium so early and it got a reward for showing courage by going for theatrical release. ## Ravi Teja starrer Krack, which was released on January 9, was the first Indian blockbuster movie during the covid-19 pandemic era. The movie released amid a lot of uncertainty and grossed over Rs. 60 crore worldwide and paved the way for others to follow. Now, actor Ravi Teja is gearing up for the release of his next, Khiladi. ## Khiladi was supposed to release on May 28, however, the second wave of the covid-19 hit makers' plan out of the park and forced them to postpone the release date. Though there are rumors that Khiladi will skip theatrical release and opt for an OTT release, director Ramesh Verma says that is not going to happen and they will wait for the theaters to open. He even went on to say that, unlike last year, there is no excitement for direct to OTT release this year. ## "Khiladi is a 100 percent theater film. Many films released online last year. Hyderabad, May 29, 2021: The young and talented director Prasanth Varma, who is just three movies old, has announced Tollywood's first-ever original superhero movie, titled Hanu-Man. Prasanth, who is celebrating his birthday today, took to social media and announced his 4th film on his special day. ## Prasanth Varma made a cracker of a debut as a filmmaker with a psychological cross-genre film - Awe! starring Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Regina Cassandra, Eesha Rebba, among others. He followed it up with films like Kalki and recently released Zombie Reddy. Now, the director is all set to come up with his favorite genre and taking to Telugu audience into a new cinematic universe with Hanu Man. ## As the title of the movie suggests, Hanu-Man is said to be inspired by mythology. Hyderabad, May 28, 2021: South Indian actress Raashii Khanna said that it was upsetting for her to shoot for her Telugu movie, Thank You, in a foreign location at a time when India is battling the second wave of covid-19. The actress was shooting for the film in Milan, Italy and recently returned home. ## Speaking about her experience shooting for the film in Italy, Raashii said it was safe because people in the country very responsibly observed protocol. ## "We were in the middle of the pandemic and I was at first scared to go there (Italy). Once there, I realized people in Italy were very responsible for wearing masks even though the second wave had passed. Very few people were shooting with us in the crew and all precautions had been taken", Raashii told IANS. ## "While I was there, the second wave in India intensified and I was constantly reading about what was happening in India. It was upsetting. It felt bad that our country was suffering and we were away. Now we are back and we can't do much. It's a helpless situation. We shot for what we had gone for, but it was upsetting humanly. We were constantly thinking about what was happening back home", she added. ## Raashii, who made her debut in 2013 with Madras Cafe - her only Hindi movie to date, said that shooting in Italy for "Thank You" was challenging as there were restrictions on movement because they were Indian. Some of the locations were canceled as the growing pandemic situation in India went against them. ## "There were days when we were shooting for 18 hours a day because we didn't have a choice. It wasn't like pre-pandemic that you could shoot at luxury and anywhere you wanted to", the actress added. ## Thank You is a romantic comedy film that stars Naga Chaitanya in the male lead role. It will be Raashii's second release with Naga Chaitanya after "Venky Mama", and she says her role in the film will be relatable.
