Producer Amy Pascal Teases Two More Spider-Man Movies

Los Angeles, June 1 - Sony Pictures' animated superhero movie "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" finally hits theaters this weekend worldwide amid roaring critics' scores, indicating that the studio might have a massive winner in their hands. ## As "Across the Spider-Verse" has been released, the producers have set their eyes on the third installment "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse" which releases in March next year. Now, the good news is that the 3rd movie is not the only Spider-Man project in the makers' minds. ## Producer Amy Pascal confirmed to Variety's reporter Marc Malkin at the "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" premiere in Los Angeles that the studio is already working on "Spider-Woman" movie along with the live-action version of Miles Morales. The "Spider-Woman" movie will hit screens sooner than one can expect, according to Pascal. ## Apart from the aforementioned "Spider-Man" movies, Pascal also said that the already announced fourth "Spider-Man" movie with Tom Holland and Zendaya is still in the works, but the writers' strike has paused development. Once the strike is over, they will start working on the script. Mumbai, May 31 - Universal Pictures' action thriller film Fast X has turned into a big success at the Indian box office. The Vin Deisel-fronted movie is performing well during the second week and has crossed the 100 crores net box office mark in all versions. ## The 10th main installment in the "Fast & Furious" franchise scored around 100.15 crores net collection in 14 days after scoring 2.05 crores on its second Wednesday. It has become the first Hollywood movie to enter the 100 crores net club in India.## The last Hollywood movie to enter the Century box office club in India was James Cameron's all-time blockbuster "Avatar: The Way of Water" which went on to score over 390 crores in all languages. Overall, "Fast X" is the 11th Hollywood movie of all time and 5th post the covid-19 pandemic to breach the 100 crores mark in India. ## Language-wise, the Hindi version is leading the overall collection of "Fast X" with 47.60 crores, followed by the original English version with 45.61 crores while other versions have scored around 5 crores net through 2nd Tuesday. ## At the worldwide box office, "Fast X" has topped $500 million. Mumbai, May 28 - Vin Diesel-fronted action thriller Fast X has crossed 100 crores gross at the Indian box office, becoming the first Hollywood movie of the year to do so. ## Directed by Louis Leterrier, "Fast X" crossed the century mark on its second Saturday, taking the total collection to around 105 crores after 10 days. It is also performing well today (2nd Sunday) and is likely to rack in another 7 crores for around 112 crores gross through the second weekend. ## In one of the rarest cases, the Hindi version of the film is performing better than the original English language as it has earned approximately 54 crores gross while the English version has collected around 52 crores through the second Sunday. Tamil and Telugu version has earned over 6 crores. ## As far as net collection is concerned, "Fast X" has earned around 93.50 crores in all languages. Los Angeles, May 23 - The "Fast & Furious" movies are not going anywhere anytime soon despite the finale of the main franchise.## The 10th main installment of the franchise "Fast X" is playing in cinemas and the second part of it is scheduled to release in 2025. There might be a 12th film in the franchise but that is not confirmed yet but the Fast family will continue to entertain the audiences. ## Vin Diesel, the lead hero and one of the producers of the "Fast and Furious" franchise has confirmed that he already has plans for spinoffs, including a female-led film. "I started developing the female spinoff... in 2017 with other spinoffs, and the sooner I deliver the finale, the sooner I can launch all the spinoffs", Diesel told Variety reporter Marc Malkin. ## Vin Diesel earlier this month teased that "Fast X" might be spread out over three films. It was originally planned to end in two parts but since there are so many characters, Diesel said that "There was no way I can pull that off unless I had everyone on for five seconds.
