He mocks Knight, calling him an Attitude Era fanboy playing pretend in Miz's ring. ## Knight clarifies he doesn't have a problem with Miz, but he warns against making it personal. Miz states that his career is personal and always has been, even after his achievements in WWE. He challenges Knight, asking him what he's done for the past 20 years. ## Knight responds, explaining that he's been striving to become a dangerous man. He's been fighting from the outside looking in while WWE made questionable decisions, including investing in Miz. Knight patiently waited for his opportunity. He accuses Miz of having a 20-year head start, being complacent and taking whatever came his way. Knight shares that others thought he was too dangerous to be trusted. He claims to be untouchable, unlike Miz. He acknowledges Miz's championship successes but suggests his own career is on the rise while Miz's is declining. ## Knight adds that if Miz wants to get personal, he's more than willing to use Miz as a stepping stone. Miz disagrees, asserting that he's the main event and Knight isn't on his level. ## Knight challenges Miz to prove himself, as he's looking him in the eye. Miz, then, removes his jacket and throws it at Knight before throwing a punch. Knight evades the Skull Crushing Finale and delivers Blunt Force Trauma. ## Next, we see the Viking Raiders in a different setting. They encounter Jackie backstage, who introduces herself to them. The New Day expresses their excitement about being back. Woods mentions other teams like the Street Profits and the Usos, expressing their intention to spread positivity and become the new tag team champions.## Michael Cole takes a moment to mention Sonya Deville's torn ACL. ## Amidst the chaos, Raquel Rodriguez launches an attack on Rhea as THE Judgment Day heads to the ring. She strikes Rhea and officials rush out to intervene, pulling Raquel away. Rhea manages to break free from security, going after Raquel. Indi and Candice come out to join the fray, but Rhea handles them as well. The skirmish leads to a commercial break, transitioning to a look at the other Women's Championship picture. ## Damian Priest, Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio (with Rhea Ripley) Vs Shinsuke Nakamura, Seth Rollins, and Cody Rhodes ## Nakamura and Balor kick things off, but Priest decides to tag himself in before any action starts. Finn responds with punches, while Nakamura counters with his own punches and places Finn on the turnbuckles for a midsection knee strike. Cody tags in and lands punches on Finn. Cody also hits a knee to Finn's midsection. He applies a wrist lock before tagging Nakamura, as Seth doesn't seem interested.## We head to a commercial break.## Returning from the break, Balor nearly pins Nakamura. Update On When Will Roman Reigns Lose The WWE Undisputed World Championship

Pensacola, 5 August 2023 - As of WrestleMania 39, there were no active plans for Roman Reigns to be involved in any title changes, and it wasn't seriously considered for him to lose the WWE Universal Championship during that event. WWE sources, speaking with Fightful Select ahead of Roman Reigns' match against Jey Uso at Summerslam, indicated that there were no immediate plans for Reigns to drop the title. Similarly, Sami Zayn, Cody Rhodes, and Jey Uso were not heavily considered or scheduled to win the championship. ## When directly asked about when Roman Reigns might lose the WWE Undisputed World Championship, the response was that it would happen "whenever Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman say it ends." This means that Reigns and Heyman would have a significant say in deciding when and to whom the title would be passed on, whether it happens soon or in a year or two. ## According to the higher-up source, the decision-making process behind developing the title match, its result, and the plan to move forward with Cody Rhodes facing Brock Lesnar after WrestleMania 39 was very transparent. Cody Rhodes was aware well in advance that he would not win the championship at WrestleMania 39. Similarly, Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman were aware of the outcome beforehand, which aligns with previous reports from Fightful Select. ## The source justified the decision by emphasizing that Roman Reigns is currently a major draw and continues to be very popular. Additionally, the emergence of Solo Sikoa as a potential money-making superstar, along with Jey Uso's legitimacy as a significant attraction, and Jimmy Uso's upcoming prominence, contributed to the decision. Furthermore, Cody Rhodes' popularity has increased since WrestleMania 39, making him a valuable asset for future storylines. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk For More Wrestling News...

Former WWE Divas Champion Spotted In Detroit Ahead Of SummerSlam

Detroit, 5 August 2023 - Maryse, who is typically not seen traveling for WWE, has been sighted in Detroit prior to tonight's WWE Summerslam event at Ford Field. ## Maryse graced her inaugural appearance in the Stamford-based wrestling promotion on the May 21, 2007 episode of RAW. In the subsequent year, she managed to secure the coveted position as the top contender for the Divas Championship, and merely a week later, on SmackDown, she clinched the illustrious title. Although she faced a release in 2011, she made a triumphant comeback in 2016 and has been an enduring fixture in the promotion ever since. ## On November 29, 2021, the luminary joined forces with The Miz and confronted Edge during one of his impassioned speeches. Subsequently, she intervened in a duel between The R-rated Superstar and The A-Lister, prompting Beth Phoenix to make her grand return and address the situation. ## The esteemed Hall of Famers extended a challenge to the Miz and Mrs. stars for a mixed tag team match at the Royal Rumble, which The Miz wholeheartedly embraced. As the contest drew near, Maryse employed a cunning tactic, attacking Phoenix with a concealed brick inside her handbag. ## The much-anticipated clash finally took place at the 2022 Rumble, with Edge and Beth emerging triumphant. This marked the last occasion on which Maryse was seen competing in a match. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk For More Wrestling News...
