Detroit, 5 August 2023 - Maryse, who is typically not seen traveling for WWE, has been sighted in Detroit prior to tonight's WWE Summerslam event at Ford Field.

Maryse graced her inaugural appearance in the Stamford-based wrestling promotion on the May 21, 2007 episode of RAW. In the subsequent year, she managed to secure the coveted position as the top contender for the Divas Championship, and merely a week later, on SmackDown, she clinched the illustrious title. Although she faced a release in 2011, she made a triumphant comeback in 2016 and has been an enduring fixture in the promotion ever since.



On November 29, 2021, the luminary joined forces with The Miz and confronted Edge during one of his impassioned speeches. Subsequently, she intervened in a duel between The R-rated Superstar and The A-Lister, prompting Beth Phoenix to make her grand return and address the situation.

The esteemed Hall of Famers extended a challenge to the Miz and Mrs. stars for a mixed tag team match at the Royal Rumble, which The Miz wholeheartedly embraced. As the contest drew near, Maryse employed a cunning tactic, attacking Phoenix with a concealed brick inside her handbag.

The much-anticipated clash finally took place at the 2022 Rumble, with Edge and Beth emerging triumphant. This marked the last occasion on which Maryse was seen competing in a match.
