Roman Reigns Says Cody Rhodes Couldn't Get Over After Running Away From WWE And Starting A Promotion (AEW)

WWE held another edition of Monday Night Raw from Enterprise Center in St. Louis, MO with Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns once again being the main-eventer. ## Reigns entered with Heyman and Sikoa. Reigns told St. Louis to acknowledge him. They did. Cody Rhodes entered. The crowd chanted for Cody. The segment was a complete burner as it got all the mentions in order to get attention. ## Reigns said Rhodes wasnโ€™t the problem. What Rhodes represented was the problem. Rhodes was like their fathers and what they used to be: professional wrestlers. Reigns has become a megastar while Rhodes talked about what he planned on doing at Mania โ€” but he wasnโ€™t going to do it. ## Rhodes recreated Stardust but he ran away. Rhodes started his own promotion that he couldnโ€™t get over in so he ran away. Rhodes got over when he returned to WWE but his body gave up on him and he tore his pec. Rhodes talked about winning the title but he wasnโ€™t going to so would run again like a bitch. ## Undisputed WWE Universal Champion @WWERomanReigns is NOT holding back on the ๐ŸŽค!#WWERaw pic.twitter.com/UJQp7gpQJa— WWE (@WWE) March 21, 2023 ## Did @CodyRhodes predict @WWERomanReigns' future?#WWERaw pic.twitter.com/LebDDtvs78— WWE (@WWE) March 21, 2023 ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

Cody Rhodes Reveals He Asked John Cena To A Match On March 6 WWE Raw

Cody Rhodes and John Cena are both all set to place a moment at WrestleMania 39. Almost two weeks away from now, Cody Rhodes will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, on the other hand, John Cena will lock horns with Austin Theory for the United States Title. ## Ahead of their WWE WrestleMania matches, Cody Rhodes and John Cena had a special moment during an episode of WWE Raw as Cena had returned earlier this month in Boston to set up his upcoming match with United States Champion Austin Theory. ## Following his in-ring promo, Cena walked down and embraced Rhodes before cutting to the commercial. After the show went off the air, Cody tweeted, "Reward their noise every time." ## While speaking with Stadium Astro, Rhodes revealed that his tweet directed to what Cena said to him during a car ride years ago. ## โ€œActually, that was something he told me in the car when I was driving him around in 2008? 2009? What he said to me on Raw was I was telling him if he ever does another match, I would like it to be with him," Rhodes stated. "I think you could hear him pretty well, he says, โ€˜I canโ€™t promise that.โ€™ But I also didnโ€™t want to make it about myself at that moment. I just endlessly thanked him and then he was at the Nightmare Factory a week later talking to our students. It was something in the car that was just not like his axiom. It was a genuine way he approached live events and shows and rewarding their noise.โ€ ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

WWE Hall of Fame (2005): List Of Inductees, Date

The class of 2005 was no exception, featuring some of the most iconic and beloved names in wrestling history. ## The headliner of the 2005 class was Hulk Hogan, one of the most famous and influential wrestlers of all time. Hogan first gained fame in the 1980s as the charismatic hero of the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE), winning multiple championships and engaging in memorable feuds with the likes of Andre the Giant and the Ultimate Warrior. Hogan's popularity helped propel wrestling into the mainstream, and he continued to be a major star throughout the 1990s and 2000s. His induction into the Hall of Fame was a well-deserved tribute to his legendary career.## Another major inductee in 2005 was "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, one of the most colorful and controversial figures in wrestling history. Piper was known for his brash personality and quick wit, as well as his intense in-ring style. He was a major star in the 1980s, winning championships and engaging in memorable feuds with the likes of Hogan and Ric Flair. Piper's induction into the Hall of Fame was a testament to his enduring popularity and his influence on the sport.## The 2005 class also included two legends of women's wrestling: the Fabulous Moolah and Wendi Richter. The Fabulous Moolah was a trailblazer in women's wrestling, winning her first championship in 1956 and remaining a major star for several decades. She helped pave the way for future generations of female wrestlers and was a respected figure in the industry until her death in 2007. Wendi Richter was another major star in the 1980s, best known for her feud with the villainous "Spider Lady" (actually Moolah in disguise) and her partnership with pop star Cyndi Lauper.## Rounding out the class of 2005 were the Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff, two wrestlers who were known for their villainous personas during the 1980s. The Iron Sheik was an Iranian-born wrestler who often played up his foreignness to generate heat with American audiences. He won the WWE Championship in 1983 and continued to be a major presence in the company for several years. Nikolai Volkoff was a Russian-born wrestler who often teamed with the Iron Sheik to form a heel tag team. He was also a talented singer and would often sing the Russian national anthem before his matches.## Overall, the class of 2005 was a fitting tribute to some of the most iconic and influential figures in wrestling history. From Hulk Hogan and Roddy Piper to the Fabulous Moolah and the Iron Sheik, each inductee had made a lasting impact on the sport and had helped shape it into what it is today. The WWE Hall of Fame serves as a reminder of the rich history of wrestling, and the class of 2005 was a shining example of that history. ## Change Table Name Image Ring name(birth name) Inducted by WWE recognized accolades Hulk Hogan(Terry Bollea) Sylvester Stallone Six-time WWF/E World (Heavyweight) ChampionSix-time WCW World Heavyweight ChampionOne-time WWE World Tag Team Champion Two-time Royal Rumble winner (1990, 1991) "Rowdy" Roddy Piper(Roderick Toombs) Ric Flair One-time WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight ChampionThree-time NWA/WCW United States Heavyweight ChampionHost of Piper's PitIn 2006, Piper also won the World Tag Team Championship.
