WWE Announces Roman Reigns Vs. Sami Zayn In A Rematch

An interesting showdown has been announced between Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn at Saturday's house show. ## On March 4, 2023 at a WWE live event, Reigns will be making a rare appearance when he faces Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Originally, WWE advertised Reigns teaming with Solo Sikoa to face Zayn and Kevin Owens in the headliner. ## However, the arena notified today that Zayn vs. Reigns 2 will happen at this show. This will mark Reigns’ first house show match since September 24, 2022, when he beat AJ Styles in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. ## Roman Reigns defeated Zayn to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at WWE Elimination Chamber PLE earlier this month. Lita and Becky Lynch are the new Women's Tag Team Champions. ## Becky Lynch and Lita have formed an intimidating red-headed union, as Lita came to the aid of Lynch during The Man’s Steel Cage Match with Bayley. The following week, Lynch and Lita raided Bayley's show “Ding Dong, Hello!” ## Now the two teamed up against Dakota Kai and IYO SKY to attempt to win Tag Team Championship Gold, a feat neither has achieved in their storied careers. ## In the final moments, Trish Stratus made her way into the ring and unloaded on Bayley, and Lita finally tagged in to hit some nasty moves on IYO SKY. Lita hit the moonsault to win the match for her team. ## Trish Stratus was set to return during the Ding Dong Hello segment with Bayley, but it didn't end up happening. Several plans have changed for WWE since the fall, specifically late November to early December. ## According to Fightful Select, Bianca Belair vs. Charlotte Flair, WrestleMania: Ronda Rousey's creative adjustments also caused some adjustments to this match. As of November, Charlotte was actually slated to return to the WWE Raw brand, before Rousey took January off and she picked up the title. While many speculated Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair as a WrestleMania match. ## Seth Rollins vs. Cody Rhodes or Drew McIntyre Title Match: A lot has changed since November, clearly, because none of these three people are involved with each other at all. Rundowns as of that period had two title matches happening, this one on night one, and another on night two. ## Cody Rhodes was listed as an option for both of them, with "TBA/Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns" being set as a WWE Universal Title match, and Rollins vs. Rhodes/Drew as a WWE Championship match. Roman Reigns has once again made history, this time in WWE Games. ## WWE 2K23 is the twenty-third overall installment of the video game series based on WWE, the tenth game under the WWE 2K banner and the game is slated to be released on March 14, 2023 (for Deluxe and Icon Edition), and March 17 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. ## With the game a few days away from its release date, Superstar Ratings for the multitude of Superstars included in the video game have been revealed. ## This year, multiple names rated higher than a 90 overall. However, one WWE Superstar stands above the rest. Roman Reigns is ranked at the top with a 99 overall. Given that, Roman Reigns becomes the highest-rated Superstar in WWE Games history. ## It should be noted that the 2k23 is the first WWE video game since WWE 2K14 to have double title entrances, and the first WWE 2K game ever to have WarGames. WWE Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is all set to return to WWE this Friday on SmackDown. At WWE Elimination Chamber, Roman Reigns defeated Sami Zayn to retain the title. Following the match, Roman wasn't seen on WWE Television. ## Now, he is all set to appear on the March 3 episode of WWE SmackDown. During the February 24th edition of SmackDown, WWE made several announcements including Roman Reigns' return. ## Also set for the show is a singles match between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan.
