Bron attempts a Torture Rack, but Trick pulls Hayes to the apron, interrupting the match. ## Bron locks in the Steiner Recliner and Hayes eventually taps out, but unfortunately, the referee is not conscious in the ring to see it. Trick takes advantage of the situation and hits Bron in the back with the title belt. He then puts Hayes on top of Bron, attempting to score the win, but he can only get a near fall when Bron kicks out. Bron manages to catch Hayes on a springboard move, but Hayes counters with a Codebreaker. Hayes seizes the opportunity and climbs up to the top rope, hitting Nothing But Net for the three count and the victory. ## WINNER: Bron Breakker (new champion) ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

WWE WrestleMania 39: Predicting Top 2 Potential Headliners For Night One

The first night of WrestleMania 39 is slated to showcase a collection of seven matches, encompassing a diverse array of wrestling styles and storylines. Among the marquee matchups is a familial feud between a father and his offspring, a confrontation pitting a social media sensation against a seasoned ring veteran, and a highly-anticipated championship clash for the undisputed tag team titles.## Fans of the grappling arts are sure to find something to their liking on the card, including the long-awaited comeback of John Cena, who squares off against the formidable Austin Theory in a quest for the United States championship. ## ESPN initially declared that John Cena vs. Austin Theory would be the "headliner" for the first night of WrestleMania 39, it was subsequently clarified that the match would retain its original position as the show opener. ## It remains to be determined which contest will take the coveted spot as the main event of WrestleMania 39. With all the matches confirmed, there appear to be two bouts that are strong contenders to headline the opening night of the event. Firstly, there's a high-stakes single match for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship, with Charlotte Flair putting her title on the line against Rhea Ripley, who earned the right to compete after winning the 2023 Royal Rumble. ## Secondly, another potential candidate for the main event could be the clash between The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) and Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, vying for the coveted Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

Roman Reigns Says Nobody Would Be Able To Be The 'Honorary Uce' Other Than Sami Zayn

After losing to "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville at WrestleMania 38, Sami Zayn became the subject of ridicule. To restore his reputation and regain the trust of the locker room, Zayn sought the assistance of Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. ## During an interview with ESPN, Roman Reigns shared that he was a fan of Sami Zayn's work on Jackass and admired the way he approached the creative process. Reigns also expressed his respect for Zayn and stated that no one else could be the "Honorary Uce" besides him. ## "I was entertained by him when he did the Jackass stuff and really respected the way he navigated that creative [process]. I believe I can do work of this level with... other guys, they'd just be different," Reigns told ESPN. "It wouldn't be the same. It would be a different character, a different angle, a different layer. Nobody would be able to be the 'Honorary Uce' other than Sami Zayn. He's endearing in that way where you want something good for him. Even if he doesn't deserve it, you still want it for him."## After turning on Reigns at WWE Royal Rumble, Zayn would challenge him to a highly anticipated match in Montreal at WWE Elimination Chamber. Despite putting up a valiant effort, Zayn would ultimately fall to Reigns. ## But the rivalry between Zayn and the Bloodline would not end there. Zayn would team up with his long-time friend Kevin Owens to face The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) for the coveted Undisputed Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania, marking a new chapter in their ongoing feud with Reigns and his family. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

Bobby Lashley Is Uncertain About His Matchup At WWE WrestleMania 39

Despite WrestleMania 39 being just around the corner, Bobby Lashley is still uncertain about his plans for the event. While it seemed that Lashley was set to collide with Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania, references to the match have been noticeably absent in recent weeks. ## As of now, it appears that Lashley's involvement in WrestleMania will be limited to the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, which is set to take place on WWE SmackDown. ## During an interview with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Bobby Lashley was asked about the atmosphere of WrestleMania. ## It's a big fight feel, WrestleMania is always going to be that way. Right now, we're trying to figure out what I'm going to do, being the All Mighty former WWE Champion and everything like that, still in search of finding that big matchup. That's what everybody wants to do when they go to WrestleMania, they want to have a big iconic matchup in front of hundreds of thousands of fans and do what we love. Right now, I'm kind of half and half, getting ready for it and preparing for that day. I have a big match on Friday night, hopefully, that trickles over and causes something big for Saturday or Sunday." ## "I have no idea. All I know is that I think I provoke fear in a lot of people. You can go out there with me, we can have a great match, but at the end of the day, The All Mighty always comes through. I'm looking for him, I'm looking for whoever wants to step up. Right now, a lot of people in the business are looking like, 'this is going to be a fun match for me.' If you want a real challenge, I'm the real challenge for anybody on the roster." ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

Kurt Angle Weighs In On Cody Rhodes' Highly Anticipated Showdown With Roman Reigns At WrestleMania 39

Rhodes made a comeback from a torn pectoral muscle at WWE Royal Rumble 2023 and secured his spot at WrestleMania 39 by winning the men's battle royal. Following Roman Reigns' victory over Sami Zayn at WWE Elimination Chamber 2023, retaining the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, the stage was set for their main event showdown at WrestleMania. While many fans have predicted that Rhodes will dethrone Reigns and put an end to his over 900-day title reign, others believe that Reigns could still retain the championship. ## During an appearance on Rewind Recap Relive, Angle was asked to weigh in on Rhodes' highly anticipated showdown with Reigns. Angle began by reflecting on his own past encounter with Rhodes, as the two previously competed in a best-of-three series that concluded at Northeast Wrestling's Wrestlefest XXI back in 2017. Angle praised Rhodes' skills, but noted that WWE did not make the most of his talents during his initial tenure with the company. However, Angle went on to express his belief that WWE is now handling Rhodes correctly and making good use of his abilities. ## “Cody was great. He was always good. He was young when he started out, but he was every bit as good back then as he is now. The company just didn’t utilize him properly. After he went to AEW and got some more years and made himself even more popular, WWE brought him back, and now they’re doing the right thing with him. Cody Rhodes is every bit as good as his dad and his brother. He might even be a little bit better," Angle said. ## “I have no doubt in my mind that’s gonna happen at WrestleMania. Roman Reigns, it’s been over two years, and Cody Rhodes is really hot right now. They needed somebody to kind of ignite the company, and Cody Rhodes is doing that right now as we speak. Him beating Roman Reigns would be a big deal for the WWE and the WWE Universe," Angle said. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

The wrestlers Becky Lynch, Lita, and Trish Stratus engaged in a war of words with Damage CTRL on "Miz TV" in preparation for their Six-Woman Tag Team Match at WrestleMania. Before defending the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Damage CTRL at WrestleMania, Becky Lynch battled IYO SKY on WrestleMania Raw. ## The Visionary prepared for his highly-personal WrestleMania matchup against Logan Paul with a positive-thinking Mustafa Ali. During their WrestleMania weigh-in on WrestleMania Raw, The Nigerian Giant took down The Beast in anticipation of their clash at The Show of Shows. In a WrestleMania Showcase preview, Braun Strowman, Ricochet, and The Street Profits took on Alpha Academy and The Viking Raiders. ## In an empty arena, United States Champion Austin Theory vowed to make the WWE Universe stop believing in John Cena while making The Leader of the Cenation believe in him. Michin & Candice LeRae faced off against Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green to determine which winning tandem would be added to the WrestleMania Showcase Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match. ## What started as a one-on-one match between Rey Mysterio and Damian Priest transformed into a vicious beatdown by The Judgment Day on The Legendary Luchador. Intercontinental Champion Gunther prepared for his turbulent Triple Threat Match at The Show of Shows by laying waste to two-time World Champion Dolph Ziggler. In an impassioned address, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn explained why they would take the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania in Los Angeles. Cody Rhodes defeated Solo Sikoa. ## WWE Raw 3/27/23 Full Review & Ratings ## Miz TV with Becky Lynch, Lita and Trish Stratus ## The show started off with Miz TV with Becky Lynch, Lita and Trish Stratus. ## During Miz TV, Trish Stratus and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Becky Lynch and Lita, made their entrance and received a tremendous reaction from the crowd. Miz then questioned Lynch about why she needed backup from her partners against Damage CTRL, given that she always claimed to be "The Man" who could handle things alone. ## Lynch quickly retorted that she was indeed The Man, while Miz was just a regular man - an insecure one with a fragile ego. Miz, attempting to defend himself, boasted about his masculinity, stating that Maryse could vouch for his manhood. Lynch sarcastically remarked that it must be reassuring to know that Maryse didn't have much experience with men before meeting him. ## Miz then questioned the motives of Lita and Stratus, wondering why they had returned to the ring just to play backup to Lynch. Lita, with a sharp comeback, reminded him that she was one-half of the Women's Tag Team Champions. ## Suddenly, Damage CTRL interrupted, led by Bayley, who was furious that their upcoming WrestleMania match against Lynch, Lita, and Stratus was being treated as just another match. To them, this match meant everything. Bayley attempted to belittle Lita and Stratus, stating that they were only relevant twenty years ago. Stratus, however, reminded her that Lita was now a current tag team champion, and this matchup would have been a dream for Bayley two decades ago. Now, her goal was simply to end them. ## Lynch then interrupted Bayley's tirade, confronting her about how she had wasted the talents of NXT stars Dakota Kai and IYO SKY, who were now doing nothing because of her. Lynch expressed her frustration that their feud had gone on for far too long since SummerSlam, and that it was finally time to end it at WrestleMania. ## RATING: *** ## Singles Match: Becky Lynch Vs IYO SKY ## In the lead-up to her WrestleMania appearance alongside WWE legends Trish Stratus and Lita against Damage CTRL, Becky Lynch secured a momentous victory by triumphing over IYO SKY in a grueling battle, culminating in a Man-handle Slam that left her opponent reeling. ## WINNER: Becky Lynch ## MATCH RATING: *** ## Seth Rollins Vs Mustafa Ali ## In anticipation of his fiercely personal WrestleMania encounter with Logan Paul, Seth "Freakin" Rollins laid waste to the upbeat Mustafa Ali with a pair of brutal stomps that wiped the smile off his face. ## With the air still thick with tension, Rollins directed a few pointed remarks toward Paul in advance of their impending clash at The Showcase of the Immortals. ## WINNER: Seth Rollins ## MATCH RATING: ** ## Brock Lesnar and Omos weigh-in ## Omos and MVP made their entrance first, with MVP hyping up Brock Lesnar's past WrestleMania wins over wrestling legends like Kurt Angle, Goldberg, Roman Reigns, and even breaking the Undertaker's undefeated streak. However, unlike those men, Lesnar cannot F5 or suplex Omos and will not be able to defeat him at WrestleMania. Omos stepped onto the scale and tipped it at an impressive 410 lbs. ## Lesnar made his entrance with a serious demeanor and immediately went after Omos. Despite Lesnar's efforts, he couldn't knock down Omos, who merely stumbled back into the turnbuckle. Lesnar attempted to grab the scale to use it as a weapon, but Omos kicked him out of the ring and took possession of the scale. ## The crowd began to chant "Suplex City," but Lesnar remained outside the ring, displaying self-doubt once again. ## Eight-man tag match: The Street Profits, Ricochet & Braun Strowman Vs Alpha Academy & The Viking Raiders (w/Valhalla) ## In the lead-up to their WrestleMania Showcase, chaos erupted during the final moments of an Eight-Man Tag Team Match. However, amidst the bedlam, Ricochet utilized Braun Strowman's shoulders as a launching pad, hurtling himself directly onto Erik of The Viking Raiders. Moments later, Montez Ford followed suit by executing a mid-air change of direction, leaping off the top rope, soaring over the towering Strowman, and landing squarely on Erik for the decisive three-count. This epic victory granted massive momentum to Braun Strowman, Ricochet, and The Street Profits, as they charge towards The Showcase of the Immortals. ## WINNERS: The Street Profits, Ricochet & Braun Strowman ## MATCH RATING: ***## Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green Vs Candice LeRae & Michin Mia Yim ## In a match of high stakes, Sonya Deville delivered an unexpected punch to Michin while she was on the apron. This opened the way for Chelsea Green to execute the Unprettier and clinch a hard-earned victory against Michin & Candice LeRae. This triumph secured them the fourth and last spot in the WrestleMania Showcase Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match, presenting them with an opportunity to compete for the championship title. ## WINNERS: Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green ## MATCH RATING: ** ## Rey Mysterio Vs Damian Priest (w/Dominik Mysterio) ## Rey attempted to execute a 619, but Priest stopped him with a clothesline for a two-count. Rey managed to bring Priest down from the top with a leg scissors takedown and hit a successful 619. However, Dom interfered by pushing Rey from the top rope, resulting in a disqualification. ## As the audience booed, Dom attacked Rey, relentlessly hitting him with blows. Priest held Rey in place as Dom continued to assault him. The situation escalated as Legado Del Fantasma rushed out to the ring. Dom and Priest quickly exited, while the audience chanted "you suck" loudly. ## WINNERS: Rey Mysterio ## MATCH RATING: ** ## Intercontinental Champion Gunther (w/Imperium) Vs Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match ## Gunther blocked a superkick from Ziggler and dropped him with a fierce chop. After a break, Ziggler hit a Fameasser, but it only got him a two-count. Attempting a Stinger splash, Ziggler was met by a chop from Gunther in mid-air. Gunther capitalized on the opportunity and executed a powerbomb followed by his signature move, the Last Symphony, for the pinfall victory. ## WINNER: GUNTHER ## MATCH RATING: ** ## Cody Rhodes Vs Solo Sikoa (w/Paul Heyman) ## The explosive main event between Cody Rhodes and the undefeated Solo Sikoa reached its climax, as The American Nightmare successfully landed the Cross Rhodes on his opponent. However, the Enforcer of The Bloodline had the wherewithal to put his foot on the ropes, breaking the crucial three-count. Soon after, Rhodes missed a moonsault on Solo, but quickly bounced back with a second Cody Cutter of the night. ## Suddenly, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos, made their way to ringside and attempted to disrupt the action. However, their efforts were thwarted when Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens rushed in to even the odds and engage in a battle with their WrestleMania opponents all the way to the back. Moments later, Rhodes managed to dodge the dreaded Samoan Spike and delivered the Cross Rhodes to Solo for an incredible victory. ## Cody not only successfully navigated a significant challenge on his path to The Showcase of the Immortals, but he also amassed substantial momentum as he prepares for the biggest match of his career against the reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, at WrestleMania. ## WINNER: Cody Rhodes ## MATCH RATING: **** ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

Solo Sikoa Suffers His First Loss Since Moving Up To The Main Roster

Since Solo Sikoa was promoted to the main roster, WWE creative has made a concerted effort to maintain his dominance. Although he has suffered disqualification losses in the past, he had not been pinned since joining the SmackDown roster last year. ## However, that streak came to an end on tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw. During the main event of tonight's show, Solo Sikoa faced off against Cody Rhodes in a highly-anticipated match. It appeared that Sikoa had the victory in hand, but interference from The Usos disrupted the match. ## Fortunately, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn came out to stop them. In the end, Rhodes capitalized on the distraction, hitting his finishing move, the Cross Rhodes, and pinning Sikoa cleanly to close out the show. ## This Friday night, Rhodes will not be heading to SmackDown to have one final face-to-face meeting with Roman Reigns before their title match at WrestleMania. Regarding Sikoa, the loss he suffered tonight may be part of a larger storyline.
