Box Office: 'Salaar' First Saturday/Second Day Early Estimates

Hyderabad, December 23 - After one of the biggest openings of all time, superstar Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire has a strong hold on its second day with a drop of around 45% in all versions. The hold is excellent considering the first day was massive in every sense. ## According to early estimates, Salaar is looking to over 50 crores and may go towards 55 crores net in all versions when actuals come in the morning. The Hindi version of the film is showing more or less the same trend today as compared to the first day as it scored an estimated 16 crores net today. ## The film's total net collection after two days is over 140 crores in all versions, including 31+ crores in Hindi which is a very good number for a dubbed version released against an outright Bollywood movie like Dunki starring a big star. The movie should see Jump tomorrow on Sunday and then do well again on Monday due to the Christmas holiday. ## The superstardom of Prabhas has come in full force in the first two days and the same is expected over the holiday weekend. Ram Charan's 'Game Changer' Release Date Locked

Hyderabad, December 23 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan has been quietly working on his next film titled Game Changer with maverick director Shankar for some time now. The political action drama film has Kiara Advani as the female lead, marking the trio's first collaboration. ## "Game Changer" was announced last year and it was supposed to be released on Sankranthi 2024, but the film's shoot has been delayed multiple times owing to Shankar's other commitments which means it couldn't arrive on its planned date. 'Salaar: Ceasefire' Opening Day Box Office Expectations

Hyderabad, December 21 - Director Prashanth Neel has been living a dream of seeing the theatres getting filled for one of his initial subjects in a new form and he couldn't have teamed up with a bigger star than Prabhas to do that for him and the time has finally arrived in a few hours. ## Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire has been in the making for the last two years and it is easily one of the most anticipated Indian films. Produced by Hombale Films, the movie is seen as a big comeback for Prabhas in particular after a few box office misfires over the last few years. ## Even though the recent films of Prabhas couldn't repeat the heroics of his past films they still scored big openings and Salaar is not going to be any different on that front. Box Office: Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Bhagavanth Kesari' Crosses 100 Crores Gross Worldwide

Hyderabad, October 30 - Veteran Telugu superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna has completed the hattrick of 100 crores grosser at the worldwide box office with his latest action drama Bhagavanth Kesari. Earlier, "Akhanda" and "Veera Simha Reddy" achieved this feat. ## Directed by Anil Ravipudi, "Bhagavanth Kesari has crossed the 100 crores gross mark as I type this (in 12 days) and becomes the 6th Telugu movie of the year to do so. The movie scored approximately 99 crores gross through the second Sunday (11 days) and is expected to be around 101 crores at the end of the second Monday. ## "Bhagavanth Kesari" has minted approximately 86 crores gross at the Indian box office and an estimated 13 crores overseas through second Sunday. Hyderabad, October 25 - Superstar Prabhas' action drama film Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire is one of the most-awaited Pan-Indian films and his collaboration with director Prashanth Neel is doing wonders for the movie in the trade. ## Produced by Hombale Films, "Salaar" was supposed to be released on September 28, 2023, before it was pushed to December 22, 2023, worldwide. Prabhas is one of the most bankable stars in Telugu and this is leading to huge pre-release business in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. ## According to a report in Track Tollywood, the theatrical rights of the film are sold at a whopping 165 crores approximately in the two Telugu states, which is the second highest ever after SS Rajamouli's "RRR". "Salaar" is only the third film to get sold for 150+ crores in AP-TG, after "Baahubali 2" and "RRR". ## Mythri Movie Makers has reportedly bought the theatrical rights of the film for the Nizam area for approximately 65 crores. Ceded rights sold for approx. 27 crores while rights for Uttarandhra have been sold at 20 crores and 14 crores have come from the deal of East Godavari rights. Guntur and Nellore rights have been locked at 12 crores and 6 crores, respectively while the rest of the areas' rights are being said to be done in the range of 20 crores. ## "Salaar" will need to score over 200 crores gross in order to break even and emerge as a box office hit. The movie is releasing during the holiday period of Christmas and if it manages to get a positive reception, the New Year period will boost the collection.
