'Salaar' Trailer Becomes The Most Viewed Indian Movie Trailer In All Languages On YouTube In The First 24 Hours

Hyderabad, December 2 - The trailer of Salaar: Ceasefire - Part 1, starring superstar Prabhas received a thunderous response across the country and has become only the second Indian movie trailer of all time to cross 100 million views in the first 24 hours in all versions.

Directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Hombale Films, the "Salaar" trailer has beaten "KGF: Chapter 2" to record the highest views for any Indian film trailer in the first 24 hours. It has scored 116+ million views in all languages wherein KGF 2 had scored 106.50 million views in 24 hours.



The Hindi trailer of "Salaar" is leading with approx. 54 million views, followed by Telugu with 33 million views while other language trailer has scored 29 million views so far. In Telugu, it has become the most-viewed trailer ever in the first 24 hours, beating Mahesh Babu's "Sarkaru Vaari Paata's" 26.80 million views.

"Salaar" has been one of the most anticipated Indian films of the year and responses to the trailer in every language is another example of it. The Hindi trailer of the film is itself become the most viewed ever in the first 24 hours, beating Prabhas' own "Adipurush" for the same.

The film stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles along with Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju. It is the first Indian film shot with DCT (Dark Centric Theme). "Salaar" is scheduled to be released on December 22 in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil.
