Box Office: Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani Scores Huge In Overseas
Mumbai, August 2 - Karan Johar's directorial "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani" is turning out to be a big success at the overseas box office. It has held superbly during the weekdays after the very good opening weekend.## "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani" has so far grossed 60 crores ($7.25 million) in the first week and emerged as the second biggest Bollywood grosser of the year at the overseas box office. Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" is currently the biggest Bollywood as well as Indian grosser overseas this year with a collection close to 400 crores.## North America has been the biggest market of RRKPK so far with $2.90 million (24 crores), followed by Gulf countries with $2.10 million (17.40 crores), and the United Kingdom with $890K (7.40 crores). In Australia also, RRKPK has really well over the first week and grossed a solid $460K (3.80 crores). The other markets grossed an estimated $900K (7.50 crores). ## In North America and the UK along with other European countries, RRKPK is having showcasing issues due to "Barbie" and "Oppenheimer", still the collection so far is strong. ## The worldwide collection of this Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-starrer is 146.50 crores, including 86.50 crores domestic gross in the first week. It scored the third biggest opening week for an outright Bollywood movie of the year, behind only "Pathaan" and "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan".## Stay tuned...
