Mumbai, July 27 - Nationa-award winning filmmaker, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri took to social media to dismiss fake news regarding the box office clash between his "The Kashmir Files" and Prabhas-fronted "Radhe Shyam" last year.
It has been spread heavily on social media which quoted Vivek Agnihotri saying that his TKF won a clash with Prabhas-starrer movie and his upcoming movie "The Vaccine War" will achieve the same success again against Prabhas' "Salaar" as both movies are scheduled to release on September 28 this year.
Vivek Agnihotri has now taken to social media to bust the fake news and confirmed that he never made such remarks against Prabhas and his movies. He also said that he has huge respect for Prabhas who is a megastar and does mega-budget movies.
"Who is spreading such fake news attributing fake quotes to me? I respect Prabhas who is a mega mega star doing mega mega budget films. We make non-starrer, small budget, people's films. There is no comparison between us. Pl spare me", the filmmaker said responding to the fake news.
Produced by Pallavi Joshi and Abhishek Agarwal, "The Vaccine War" is based on India's journey to develop the COVID-19 vaccine amid the pandemic and the impact it had globally. It stars Nana Patekar, Anupam Kher, and Sapthami Gowda, among others in key roles.
