Box Office: Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani First Monday Early Estimates

Mumbai, July 31 - Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-fronted "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani" crosses 50 crores net mark after the solid first Monday. The movie had a very good opening weekend with 45.90 crores net, which is the 4th biggest first Friday-Sunday weekend for Bollywood this year.

RRKPK needed to stay strong on its first make-or-break Monday and it passes the test with flying colors. The early estimates suggest the collection is in the range of 7-7.50 crores net today, dropping around 60% from Sunday which is normal after a strong weekend collection.



As compared to Friday, the drop in the collection of RRKPK today is in the range of 30-35% which is a fantastic hold, however, the overall collection is on the average side for a big-budget movie like this. The first Friday/opening day was itself decent with 11.10 crores net though the Saturday and Sunday jump didn't let it affect the overall weekend collection.

The total collection of the film has reached over 53 crores net in 4 days, and RRKPK will need to remain consistent during the coming days for a good opening week. As of now, it looks like the movie will finish its first week with around 70-73 crores net which is a good result. It has another week to score before "Gadar 2" and "OMG 2" arrive on August 11.
