Mumbai, May 28, 2021: Director Om Raut's magnum opus, Adipurush has been in media headlines ever since it was announced. The movie, which is the adaptation of Ramayan, headlines Prabhas in the lead role as Lord Ram, while Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan essay Sita and Lankesh respectively. Sunny Singh roped in for the role of Laxman. ## Recently, actor Sidharth Shukla was rumored to be approached by the makers of Adipurush to play the role of Meghnad, son of Ravana, in this ambitious film. The rumors surfaced on the internet claiming that Om Raut personally met Sidharth on offers him the role. ## Well, looks like it was only a rumor and died down immediately the actor himself spill the beans on it. In a recent chat with Filmfare, the Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania actor said that he hasn't been approached for any kind of role by Adipurush makers. ## "Honestly, it hasn't come to me yet. So, I really don't know if there is any truth to it or not. For me, I really don't know because nothing has come to me", he said. Producer Sandeep Singh And Amit B Wadhwani Announce A Biopic On Veer Savarkar; Mahesh Manjrekar To Direct

Mumbai, May 28, 2021: On the 138th birth anniversary of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, commonly known as Swatantryaveer Savarkar, producer Sandeep Singh in association with Amit B Wadhwani has announced a biopic. Sandeep Singh has acquired the movie rights to make a biopic on the controversial freedom fighter. ## The movie titled, "Swatantra Veer Savarkar", will be helmed by Mahesh Manjrekar, who has also written the script along with Rishi Virmani. Interestingly, Sandeep Ssingh had earlier produced Prime Minister Narendra Modi's biopic with Vivek Oberoi playing Modi. PM Modi has huge admiration for Savarkar. ## The director Mahesh Manjrekar said in a statement, "I have always been fascinated by the life and times of Veer Savarkar. I believe he is a man who has not got his right in history. The reality is that he continues to expose such strong emotions that may have influenced many people. Salman Khan's Legal Team Issues Statement On Legal Notice To KRK For Reviewing Radhe!

Mumbai, May 27, 2021: Kamaal R Khan, who starred in the film Deshdrohi, put out a series of tweets on Wednesday alleging that the Bollywood actor Salman Khan has filed a defamation case against him for reviewing his recently released film, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. ## Now, DSK Legal - the official advocates for Mr. Salman Khan and Salman Khan Ventures have issued a statement regarding the matter. While the legal team of Salman accepts that they have sent a legal notice to KRK, it is not for reviewing Radhe but defaming the actor's image from the last several months just to draw his attention. ## "Mr. Kamaal R Khan, the Defendant, has put out a series of tweets and videos alleging that Mr. Salman Khan has sued him for defamation because the Defendant reviewed the film, Radhe. This is incorrect", their statement reads (according to Box Office Worldwide).## "The suit has been filed as the Defendant has been publishing and endorsing defamatory allegations, including that Mr. Salman Khan is corrupt, that he and his brand Being Human are involved in fraud, manipulation, and money laundering transactions. South Indian Actors Nassar And Satyadev Kancharana To Join The Cast of Akshay Kumar Led 'Ram Setu'; Shoot To Resume In June

Mumbai, May 27, 2021: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar will once again go back to his busy routine once the lockdown restrictions end in the Maharasthra state. ## As soon as the lockdown is lifted and shots allowed, the first movie to begin production of Akshay will his ambitious, Ram Setu, which also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez as the female lead. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, Ram Setu is an epic mythological adventure film. ## The filming of Ram Setu had already begun in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh towards the end of March this year before the deadly second wave of the covid-19 pandemic hit the country. However, things are stabilizing slowly as cases going down. According to reports, the makers are planning to resume the shoot of Ram Setu around June 20 with the hope that the second wave will die down by then. ## Meanwhile, South Indian actors, Nassar and Satyadev Kancharana, known professionally as Satya Dev have said to be been roped in to play key roles in the film. The movie marks the big-screen debut of SRK after more than 2 years. The movie is set to be made on a grand scale with Salman Khan also having a strong cameo role. The duo of SRK and Salman are reuniting after SRK's Zero, and Salman's entry in Pathan is reportadly planned through a helicopter scene. Mumbai, May 18, 2021: Salman Khan starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai was released on May 13 on multiple digital platforms via pay-per-view model owing to the covid-19 pandemic. It was a move, many expected, will bring the change of releasing movies going forward. ## However, since the pay-per-view model is completely new to the Indian audience, especially for the masses, people are wondering whether this move did benefit ZeePlex, which is the primary partner of Radhe. According to data shared by Zee, Radhe gained a massive number of views, around 4.2 million or approx Rs. 105 crores, on day 1. ## However, trade analysts believe that the pay-per-view model is impractical, given rampant piracy. According to Shailesh Kapoor of Ormax Media, which specializes in media research and tracking, a "Radhe" like the film is expected to get at least 30 million lifetime views, which is looking unlikely in this case. He also said that the pay-per-view model is premature in India to give a try. ## "Our estimates suggest that about eight to 10 million have viewed the film, with four million having watched it on the first day.
