How Much Box Office Collection Is Possible for Sooryavanshi and Eternals (India)
Mumbai, 29th September 2021: As Covid-19 cases in India going down and at last, all theaters will open before Diwali 2021, Bollywood and Hollywood movies are gearing up for Diwali release. ##
Akshay Kumar's Sooryavanshi and Marvel Studio's Eternals will have a clash as they both will release on 5th November 2021. There will be a 50% occupancy cap in Maharastra and some other states but the festival Diwali can give a boost to both films. ##
Larger-than-life movies and Action movies cover multiplex and single screens and both movies are like that though Sooryavanshi will have more dominance on single screens. On the other hand, Multiplexes can be dominated by both movies. ##
When movies releases, the first-day collection depends on star power, trailer reviews, and promotion. For both movies, these 3 factors are already good, so it is possible that they will do good business on its first day. But after that, a lot depends on movie reviews if one of the movies received bad reviews then another one will have a benefit. ##
So How much Sooryvanshi and Eternals may earn? ##
Considering all the factors like star cast, director, genre, release date, and after covid-19 life, Sooryvanshi may earn 20-25 Cr India net on its first day. And after that, it will depend on what kind of reviews it will get. If there are positive reviews then a possible 60-70 Cr (India net) weekend is on the card, otherwise 50-55 Cr weekend. The lifetime possible collection with positive reviews is 170-180 Cr (India net) and with negative reviews, the possible lifetime is 100 Cr (India net). ##
As Marvel movies have a good fan following in India, Eternals will have a good opening and may earn 7-8 Cr (India net) on its first day considering clash with Sooryavanshi on the Northside and with Rajinikanth's Annaatthe on the Southside. The lifetime projected collection in India for this movie is 50-60 Cr (India net). ##
Sooryavanshi stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. Ajay Devgn, Ranvir Singh will have extended cameos. This film is directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Dharma Productions, Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Productions, Cape Of Good Films. ##
Eternals is an upcoming American superhero film which is produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is intended to be the 26th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Oscar winner, Chloé Zhao, who wrote the screenplay with Patrick Burleigh, Ryan Firpo, and Kaz Firpo. ##
Eternals stars an ensemble cast including Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Harish Patel, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, and Angelina Jolie.
