Ranveer Singh Locks Shooting Timeline For 'Don 3' and 'Shaktimaan'

Mumbai, February 15 - Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is gearing up for the non-stop action in the next couple of years with back-to-back big-ticket entertainers. The actor has had a mixed bag of success over the last couple of years and now, he aims to make big over the next few years. ## Ranveer is currently shooting for director Rohit Shetty's Singham Again with Ajay Devgn in the title role. The actor has already shot for most of his part and will wrap up by April this year. It is said that Ranveer is playing a significant extended role in Singham 3 which also has Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Sharoff with Arjun Kapoor as the main antagonist. ## After wrapping up Singham 3, the Simmba star will move to director Farhan Akhtar's Don 3. The actor has replaced superstar Shah Rukh Khan to headline the third instalment of the franchise and he will undergo workshops to get into the part of Don. According to Pinkvilla, director Farhan Akhtar is aiming to take Don 3 on floors by August/September this year. ## Don 3 will be shot in India and abroad over a period of 7 months and it is expected to wrap up by March 2025. After getting done with this, Ranveer will reportedly head to the superhero movie Shaktimaan. It was announced in February 2022 with Sony Pictures coming on board to bankroll it. ## Shaktimaan has been in the writing stage for over 3 years now and the team has finally cracked a script that's worthy of doing justice to the legacy of Shaktimaan. Mumbai, February 14 - Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan's Fighter has entered the 200 crores net club. The Siddharth Anand's directorial aerial action thriller achieved the milestone on its 3rd Wednesday (21st day). ## Also starring Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, Fighter scored approximately 1.75 crores net on Valentine's Day, pushing the total collection to around 201 crores through 3rd Wednesday. It is the first Indian movie of 2024 to hit 200 crore net mark. ## Fighter is Hrithik Roshan's third and Deepika Padukone's 4th film to enter 200 crores net club. For director Siddharth Anand, it is his 3rd movie in this prestigious box office club.## At the worldwide box office, the film has so far grossed approximately 336 crores in 21 days. Mumbai, February 13 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has teamed up with Tamil director Sudha Kongara for the remake of Soorarai Pottru. The movie has been in production since 2022 and was supposed to be released in February this year but was postponed. ## There have been rumours that the movie was titled Start Up, but now, the makers have announced the official title. Produced by Abundantia Entertainment and 2D Entertainment, the film is titled Sarfira, and it also stars Radhika Madan as the female lead alongside Paresh Rawal and Seema Biswas. ## The title of the movie was unveiled on February 13 with the first look glimpse. The movie stars Kartik Aaryan who will reprise the role of Rooh Baba from the second movie. ## In a blockbuster development to the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, T-Series officially confirmed that Vidya Balan, who played the female lead role in the first movie with Akshay Kumar in 2008, will be returning to reprise her role as Manjulika. ## After the casting of Vidya Balan, the rumours were making rounds that Akshay Kumar would also be returning to play the cameo role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, but the rumours didn't last long as director Anees Bazmee has himself denied the development though the filmmaker wishes to work with him. ## "No, Akshay is not a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The movie, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, will be hitting big screens on Eid 2024. ## Akshay's next after BMCM will be the Hindi remake of the Tamil movie Soorarai Pottru, directed by Sudha Kongagra. Mumbai, February 8 - Hrithik Roshan's Fighter scored a decent second week at the domestic box office with around 40.50+ crores net. The Siddharth Anand's directorial aerial action thriller is heading towards finishing over 200 crores net collection, which at one stage, looked very difficult.## After the good but underwhelming first week of 146.50 crores net, Fighter needed a turnaround to stay afloat and managed to do that with a timely jump over the second weekend in which the movie minted approximately 28.75 crores net.## The movie had another drop on its second Monday which was expected but just like the first week, it didn't drop drastically and stayed steady during the weekdays. Ranbir Kapoor's 'Ramayana' Shooting Details Revealed

Mumbai, February 4 - The countdown begins for the shoot commencement of Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor-led epic Ramayana, potentially the biggest Indian film in the making. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the three-part film features Kapoor in the role of Lord Ram alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Raavan, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman, among others. ## The pre-production work on Ramayana has been going on for a long time and now, the makers are set to take the movie on floors in March this year. Box Office: Fighter Is Steady After First Monday Crash

Mumbai, February 3 - After the harsh first Monday crash, Hrithik Roshan's Fighter has shown a much better hold since then and now, it has started the second weekend on a good note.## The Siddharth Anand's directorial had a good opening weekend with 118.50 crores net collection over 4 days, however, the harsh drop of over 70% for approximately 8 crores net on its first Monday raised the eyebrows of the trade which felt the movie won't survive from there on. ## After that Monday crash, Fighter needed to steady the ship as another fall would have been the end of its journey at the box office but with positive word of mouth, especially in metro cities, making sure the film didn't drop further beyond the regular dip. ## Over the next three days (Tuesday - Thursday), the film held better with a regular drop of around 10% to score 146.50 crores net in the extended first 8-day week. Fighter crossed the 150 crores net mark on its second Friday with approximately 5.75 crores net collection, for approximately 152.25 crores net in 9 days. The second weekend is expected to score over 20+ crores net. ## Fighter is very good at the overseas box office and has so far grossed an estimated 76 crores in 9 days. Mumbai, February 2 - Director Meghna Gulzar's war biographical grama Sam Bahadur starring Vicky Kaushal in the lead role has emerged as an all-time biggest opener for ZEE5 in Hindi-language, according to Deadline. ## Sam Bahadur, based on the life of India's first field marshal Sam Manekshaw, was premiered on ZEE5 on January 26 after 8 weeks of theatrical run. In the first three days of its digital release, the film has risen to the top position among all Hindi titles released on the ZEE5. ## While viewership numbers are not revealed, ZEE5 said that the movie has been watched in over 190 countries on the platform, with the U.S., Australia, the UK, the United Arab Emirates and Canada as the top performers outside of India. ## Produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of RSVP, Sam Bahadur was also a theatrical success with a worldwide gross collection of over 130 crores. Mumbai, February 1 - Indian films have started well at the box office in 2024 as three of them are among the top 10 highest-grossing titles worldwide this year so far.## Director Prasanth Varma's superhero film Hanuman emerged as a huge blockbuster with a worldwide gross collection of around 265 crores in 20 days. In India, the movie has minted approximately 210 crores while the overseas collection is around 55 crores so far. ## Hanuman is the 5th highest-grossing film globally in 2024 in January, followed by Hrithik Roshan's Fighter. The Siddharth Anand's directorial aerial action thriller was one of the most-awaited films, however, it has underperformed given its size and scale. ## In its first week (7 days), Fighter grossed approximately 241 crores worldwide, including 169 crores domestically and an estimated 72 crores at the overseas box office. It is the 7th highest-grossing film worldwide of 2024 so far. ## Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu's action drama Guntur Kaaram is another Indian film in the global top 10 in January 2024. The movie, directed by Trivikram Srinivas, has grossed around 177 crores in 20 days, including 146 crores in India and approximately 31 crores overseas. The duo is now set to reunite and the fans are excited about this long-awaited collaboration. ## It was revealed in 2022 that Priyadarshan is working on a script to reunite with Akshay and now, the filmmaker has shared some major updates regarding the same. Contrary to the rumours, the film is not a sequel or remake though it is a horror comedy, different from Bhool Bhulaiyaa. ## "My film with Akshay is not a remake. It is an original idea. The script is not mine; it was given to me by Ekta Kapoor (producer). It is not Bhool Bhulaiyaa, but it will be a horror comedy, in the fantasy horror zone, as horror can never be real. Mumbai, February 1 - Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan and director Siddharth Anand's Fighter has a decent opening week at the domestic box office. The movie did well in urban centres, however, it failed to repeat the same in mass areas despite positive reviews and word of mouth. ## Also starring Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor, Fighter scored approximately 140.75 crores net collection in the first week (7 days). The movie was a Thursday release and it scored 118.50 crores net during the Republic Day weekend which was good. ## Fighter had a big drop of over 70% on Monday which raised doubts over the film's longevity at the box office, however, after that heavy drop, the movie is showing a better trend as it didn't drop drastically after that. Though the movie may struggle to score a big jump in the second weekend it is still in the race to top 200 crores net. ## The collection of 140.50 crores net makes Fighter the third biggest first-week grosser for a Hrithik Roshan-starrer after War and Krrish 3 (first 7 days). ## 1.
