On Friday night, Kota Ibushi revealed that he is set to undergo surgery due to complications with the inside of his left ankle and a required procedure on his right ligament.

Apologizing for the delayed communication, Ibushi stated that while more details would be provided by Pro Wrestling NOAH, he wanted to share that the condition inside his left ankle prompted the decision for surgery on the right ligament. A formal announcement is expected soon, and he expressed sincere regret, writing, "I'm really, really sorry."



Ibushi faced Naomichi Marufuji at NOAH The New Year, during which he sustained an ankle injury. Post-match, his discomfort was evident as he struggled to stand, necessitating his immediate hospitalization.
