Los Angeles, May 5, 2021: Andrew Garfield has quashed all the rumors of him returning as Spider-Man in the upcoming Tom Holland starrer "Spider-Man: No Way Home". The rumors have been making noise that the upcoming sequel of Spider-Man will feature multiple Spider-Men including Tobey Maguire as well as Garfield, who played the hero in two Amazing Spider-Man films from 2012-14.## And now, after months of sitting back and observing, Garfield put all the talks to rest. "I can't speak for anything else, but for myself. They might be doing something, but I ain't got a call", Garfield told MTV's Josh Horowitz on Tuesday's episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast (via THR).## "I see how often Spider-Man is trending and it's like people freaking out", said Garfield. "And I'm just like, 'guys, guys, guys' — I wish I could just be able to speak to everyone and say, 'I recommend that you chill", he added. ## Despite Garfield's denials, there are a lot of indications that No Way Home will feature multiple Spider-Men. After all, the film is confirmed to feature Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus, the villain he played in Maguire's Spider-Man 2. Jamie Foxx is also confirmed as Electro, a villain from Garfield's The Amazing Spider-Man 2.## Spider-Man: No Way Home is directed by Jon Watts and co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios. The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 has been suspended indefinitely following the rise in cases of COVID-19 within the bio bubble.## Yesterday, Kolkata Knight Riders' Varun Chakroborty and Sandeep Warrior came positive for the coronavirus which led the KKR match against RCB to be rescheduled. However, the latest development to trigger a total rethink on the tournament is the positive COVID-19 test result of Sunrisers Hyderabad's Wriddhiman Saha and Delhi Capitals' Amit Mishra.## Around 12 noon, the top officials of the BCCI were to meet to take a final call on the fate of the tournament with rescheduling the entire tournament being one of the agenda points. Panorama Studios International Acquires Hindi Remake Rights Of Mohanlal Starrer Drishyam 2

Mumbai, May 4, 2021: Mohanlal starrer Malayalam movie, Drishyam 2 which recently premiered on Amazon Prime Video became a digital blockbuster after getting rave reviews. And now, the movie is set for its Hindi remake as Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak's Panorama Studios International has acquired the Hindi remake rights of this suspense thriller. ## Panorama Studios had also produced the Hindi remake of Drishyam with Ajay Devgn reprising the role of Mohanlal along with Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta in key roles. While Drishyam was directed by Nishikant Kamat, the details of who will helm Drishyam 2 and the cast will soon be announced.## Director of the original film Jeethu Joseph said in a statement, "The story of Drishyam 2 resonated with people and I am so glad that Panorama Studios will make it reach to a wider audience with the Hindi remake. In Maharashtra, which has been the home of the Hindi film industry, the situation is really bad which has put many film and tv shoots to a halt. ## Meanwhile, the next phase of vaccination has begun in India under which, all above 18 years of age are eligible to get the vaccine. Yash Raj Films, one of the leading production houses in India, has decided to bear the cost of vaccinating the registered members of the Hindi film industry. As per a letter to the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), YRF has decided to vaccinate almost 30,000 members of the M&E industry free of cost.## In the letter, the production house has mentioned that the Hindi film industry has suffered a lot amidst the pandemic and it is necessary to start it at the earliest so that 'thousands of workers can start earning their livelihood again'. The letter also mentions that the production house has made a request to CM Uddhav Thackeray to give them permission to purchase the vaccine and the cost of it will be handled by Yash Raj Foundation.## Later, FWICE wrote a letter to the CM requesting him to consider YRF's request. Talking about the urgency of the members of the film industry getting vaccinated, the letter mentioned, "Vaccination is very important not only to fight the disease but also to fight against the dropping economy of the state". Los Angeles, May 3, 2021: As the covid-19 pandemic is slowing down in North America, the theaters in the USA have started to reopen after more than a year. Among them, Los Angeles' "New Beverly Cinema", which is owned and operated by filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, is also set to see the light again.## In a post shared on its social media channels and website Saturday, the historic revival theater (located on 7165 Beverly Blvd.) announced plans to reopen on June 1. Cricket Australia Donates $50,000 To Support India Fight Covid-19 Second Wave

New Delhi, May 3, 2021: Australian Cricket has offered its support to India in fighting the covid-19 second wave which has created havoc in the country. Directed by Taika Waititi, the filming on Thor: Love and Thunder has been underway since late January in Australia. ## The director said that the fourth film in the Thor franchise might be the best Marvel film ever. "Filming is going great. We've got four weeks left, I can see light at the end of the tunnel. It might be the best Marvel film ever!", Waititi told Weekend Today (via comicbook). ## The movie stars Chris Hemsworth as a mighty superhero Thor, along with Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie. Natalie Portman, who last appeared in 2013's Thor: The Dark World before reprising her role in 2019's Endgame, is also returning to Love And Thunder as Jane Foster. The movie will also see Jaimie Alexander as Sif and Jeff Goldblum as Ragnarok's cosmic Grandmaster along with the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy.## On reuniting with Hemsworth, Waititi said, "He is a funny guy, he's a good friend and he's also someone that you just want to hang out with all the time. But yes, sometimes I feel that I didn't see the potential in that film".## On completing 15 years in cinema, Kangana launched her own production house called "Manikarnika Films".
