Mumbai, April 5 - SS Rajamouli's "RRR" has become the 3rd highest-grossing Indian film of all time at the worldwide box office. The current talk of the town has leapfrogged Salman Khan-fronted "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and Aamir Khan's "Secret Superstar" to claim the 3rd spot among the Indian movies. ## The period action drama, starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, has scored 923 crores worldwide through the second Monday. At the domestic box office, the movie has grossed 745 crores while overseas, it minted approx. 178 crores. The USA is leading the overseas chart for "RRR" with approx. 95 crores. ## Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which is considered one of the finest Bollywood films of the last decade, had grossed 922.03 crores in its lifetime box office run. The overseas total of BB was higher than the domestic gross due to China, where it minted 295 crores. The total overseas cume finished at 489.47 crores against 432.46 crores gross in India. ## "Secret Superstar", a musical drama film that featured Aamir Khan in the extended cameo role, had grossed 912.07 crores worldwide, including 831.47 crores overseas. During the party, writer Vijayendra Prasad talked about a possible sequel to the movie. ## The writer had earlier also hinted at "RRR 2" in most of his interviews and discussed interesting things about the movie. The news about the sequel has spread like a wildfire and everyone is excited about it. Ahead of the release, the makers will unveil the second trailer of the film on April 11. The first trailer was released in March this year and was also attached to "RRR" print for its wide reach. ## According to Pinkvilla, the new trailer of "Runway 34" will be linked with Yash-fronted Pan-India biggie, "KGF: Chapter 2" from April 14. The makers have tied up with cinema halls to screen the second trailer. This is an attempt to ensure that Runway 34 trailer reaches the maximum audience as KGF2 is a widely-awaited Indian movie. ## "The second trailer of Runway 34 will be launched amidst fanfare at a grand event in Delhi on April 11. Just three days after its release, the same trailer will be screened in cinema halls along with KGF: Chapter 2. The makers had this plan with them ready long before reaching out to a wide section of the audience across the globe. For KGF 2, they have tied up directly with the national chains to screen the trailer", reports Pinkvilla. ## "Runway 34" is inspired by the true event of the Jet Airways Doha to Kochi flight 9W 555, a Boeing 737–800 aircraft that had a narrow escape on 18 August 2015, after facing difficulties to land at the Cochin International Airport due to bad weather and unclear visibility at 5:45 in the morning. ## Ajay Devgn has directed and produced this film while also playing the lead role along with Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Rakul Preet Singh, Angira Dhar, and Aakanksha Singh.
