Los Angeles, August 20 - Tom Cruise's action thriller Top Gun Maverick is not done yet and still going strong at the box office despite being in its 13th weekend. It has now crossed Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War at the domestic (North America) box office. ## Directed by Joseph Kosinski, "Top Gun 2" grossed a strong $1.6 million on its 13th Friday, pushing total domestic cume to $679.1 million, and with this, it has surpassed "Avengers: Infinity War's" $678.8 million lifetime collection to become the 6th highest-grossing film of all-time at the North American box office. ## The sequel to Cruise's "Top Gun" (1986) is looking to score over $5 million in its 13th weekend as it is hoping to finish over a $700 million domestic lifetime run.## Highest-grossing films in North America (without inflation) - ## 1.
