The title was announced through a promo teaser, however, the video doesn't give any hints about whether the film is a part of Lokesh's much talked about LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe).## The promo video of "Leo" is buzzing with Anirudh's rocking BGM. Mumbai, February 3 - Yash Raj Films' biggest bet has turned out to be the biggest blockbuster as Shah Rukh Khan-fronted "Pathaan" has concluded the extended opening week at the box office on a historic note. ## Siddharth Anand's directorial broke all the opening week records for a Bollywood movie and has set new benchmarks for the upcoming films to climb. "Pathaan", after becoming the biggest Bollywood opener of all time with 57 crores net, concludes a 9-day week with 364.15 crores net, including 351 crores in Hindi alone. ## Also starring John Abraham, and Deepika Padukone, "Pathaan" has beaten "KGF: Chapter 2" (268.63 crores) to score the biggest ever first week for a Hindi film. As far as the like-for-like record, "Pathaan" is still miles ahead of "KGF 2" which minted 280.18 crores net in the first 9 days. ## For an outright Bollywood movie, Salman Khan's "Sultan" was previously the biggest opening week grosser with 229.16 crores net in its 9-day week. Interestingly, "Pathaan" has already crossed the lifetime collection of "Sultan" (300.12 crores) in just 6 days. ## At the overseas box office, "Pathaan" has grossed approx. 260 crores in 9 days, for a total worldwide cume of approx. 697 crores in as many days. It has topped 700 crores gross as I type this and becomes the 5th Bollywood and 9th Indian film to achieve the feat. The spy action thriller has beaten the previous record held by "Dhoom 3" for 10 years. ## Aamir Khan-fronted "Dhoom 3" grossed £2.71 million at the UK box office and was the biggest Indian movie there. Now, the Shah Rukh Khan-fronted blockbuster "Pathaan" has crossed that mark in just 9 days to become the new box office king in the country for an Indian film. It currently has grossed £2.8 million.## Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is the 3rd biggest Indian film in the UK with £2.66 million, followed by Shah Rukh Khan's "My Name is Khan" at number 4 with £2.62 million, and "Dangal" at 5 with £2.56 million.## The total overseas collection of "Pathaan" is close to $32 million after 9 days. It has become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie internationally, excluding China. Chennai, February 3 - Thalapathy Vijay's second collaboration with blockbuster director Lokesh Kanagaraj, "Thalapathy 67" is getting hot in the trade even though there is no release date set yet. T67's non-theatrical rights have already been sold and prices are believed to be the highest ever in Tamil cinema. ## Produced by Seven Screen Studio, "Thalapathy 67" is the most-hyped Tamil movie ever and there is genuine excitement among moviegoers for this film. Netflix, one of the leading OTT platforms, has bought the post-theatrical streaming rights of the movie, and if reports are to be believed, the streamer has paid a whopping price of 150 crores for the same. ## Thalapathy Vijay's latest blockbuster "Varisu" was sold in approx. 60 crores to Amazon Prime Video, and now, Netflix has paid 2.5X for the superstar's upcoming movie. Sun TV has bought the satellite rights of T67 for approx. 80 crores. The channel also has TV rights to "Varisu" which it bought in approx. 50 crores. ## Sony Music has been announced as the Music Partner of T67 and the price for the same is said to be approx. 16 crores. The non-theatrical rights of the movie are close to 250 crores. The theatrical biz is expected to be skyrocketed and it could be around 150-200 crores. ## T67 is said to be a part of director Lokesh's cinematic universe, which also included "Kaithi" and "Vikram". Mumbai, February 2 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" is showing no sign of fatigue as it is recording blockbuster collections at the box office. The Siddharth Anand's directed flick scored a mammoth opening weekend and carried that momentum into weekdays. ## Also starring John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, "Pathaan" has completed 8 days at the box office, scoring 348.50 crores net in all languages, including 336 crores net in the Hindi language alone. It has now become (as I type this) the biggest domestic scorer in Yash Raj Films' spy universe, beating Salman Khan's "Tiger Zinda Hai". ## "Tiger Zinda Hai" (2017), directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, has earned approx. 339 crores net in Hindi. "Pathaan" has crossed that mark in just 9 days, and it will cross the 350 crores mark by the end of the day. As far as the gross collection is concerned, "TZH" is still ahead with approx. 433 crores as "Pathaan" will be around 420 crores gross in 9 days.## Siddharth Anand's "War" (2019), starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff is the third biggest-grosser movie in the spy universe with approx. 303 crores net while Salman's "Ek Tha Tiger" (2012) scored approx. 199 crores. At the worldwide box office, "Pathaan" is miles ahead rest of the aforementioned films as the collection will be close to 700 crore gross in 9 days. Mumbai, February 2 - Filmmaker Karan Johar's directorial comeback movie Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani won't be released in April 2023 as the makers have postponed the release by three months. ## Starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the leading roles, the romantic family drama was supposed to release on April 28, but will now be hitting theaters worldwide on July 28, 2023. It has also averted the clash with Mani Ratnam's "PS-2" which is releasing on April 28 in multiple languages. ## Dharma Productions took to Twitter to announce the new release date with the title poster. "Rocky aur Rani ke parivaar ho rahe hai taiyyaar, aur dekhiye yeh anokhi kahani of pyaar! Also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, the movie was supposed to release in 2022 but due to the delay in production, the maker postponed the release until officially announced. ## "Project K" is set in a futuristic world with never before seen visuals around the possibility of a 3rd World War. It is kind of the film that hasn't been touched before in Indian cinema and thus, makers are taking extra care in the making and coming up with the rock-solid output. ## According to Pinkvilla, it has now been revealed that "Project K" will be released in two parts, just like "Baahubali" which is one of the most loved Indian films of all time. The shoot for the first part of "Project K" is said to be wrapped up and filming for the second part is currently going on at a brisk pace. ## "The vision and plot point of Project K is so big that the makers have decided to make it a 2-part film. While the first part will establish the world and conflict of this magnum opus, the entire drama will unfold in the second half, much like what happened in the Bahubali Franchise. Project K is envisioned as the biggest film of Indian Cinema with a conflict like never before", Pinkvilla reports quoting a source close to the development. ## The first part of the film is expected to release in April 2024. Chennai, February 1 - Thalapathy Vijay's second collaboration with director Lokesh Kanagaraj has roped in a superlative star cast. Tentatively titled "Thalapathy 67", it is easily the most hyped Kollywood movie of the year and it gets bigger with some of the highly talented actors coming on board it. ## Seven Screen Studio, the production house of the film, has been announcing the cast since yesterday and the makers have locked in primary characters. While Thalapathy Vijay plays the lead role, Sanjay Dutt was the first to announce to play one of the prominent roles. ## Sanjay Dutt marks his Tamil debut with "Thalapathy 67" and also his first association with Vijay and Kanagaraj. "When I heard the one-liner of Thalapathy 67, I knew in that exact moment I had to be a part of this film and I'm thrilled to start this journey", Dutt said. ## The second actor to announce is Priya Anand who plays one of the female leads. Dance choreographer Sandy also joins the cast along with Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, and Mathew Thomas. Gautham Menon, one of the top names in South Indian cinema, is also a part of the ensemble, and so is action king Arjun Sarja. ## The last one to confirm onboard is the leading lady of the film Tisha Krishan who reunites with Thalapathy Vijay after 14 years. Vijay and Trisha are one of the most loved on-screen pairs in South Indian cinema and they are finally teaming up for what could be the biggest film in Tamil cinema history. ## There are rumors that one of the top Tamil actors, Vikram will also be a part of the film, however, the makers haven't confirmed his participation yet. ## Produced by S.
