Mumbai, June 9 - Yash Raj Films' all-time blockbuster movie Pathaan starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan along with John Abraham and Deepika Padukone has been confirmed to release in Russia with a record number of screens. ## Directed by Siddharth Anand, the spy action thriller film will be hitting Russia along with other CIS countries theaters on July 13, 2023, and will release on over 3000 screens across the region. This is the widest release ever for an Indian movie in this part of the world. ## "Pathaan" was recently released in Bangladesh and became the first Bollywood movie in many many years to secure a release date in this country.## Originally, the movie was released in January this year and is currently the highest-grossing Indian movie of the year at the worldwide box office. It grossed over 1050 crores worldwide, including over 650 crores at the domestic box office. Overall, "Pathaan" is the 5th highest-grossing Indian movie of all time. ## "Pathaan" is a part of YRF's Spy Universe in which the next film is superstar Salman Khan-fronted "Tiger 3". Mumbai, June 9 - Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan gearing up for the release of his much-awaited "Satyaprem Ki Katha", which releases on June 29. It is a musical romantic comedy film that also stars Kiara Advani under the direction of Sameer Vidwans and producer Sajid Nadiadwala. ## Meanwhile, even before the release of "Satyaprem Ki Katha", Kartik kick-started the shooting of his next film that is with director Kabir Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala. According to Mid-day, the action drama film went on floors on June 7 in Joker Maidan in Film City, Goregaon. ## It is said that Kabir Khan has planned a 10-day schedule during which the movie's action set pieces will be shot. ## "The shooting began with a hand-to-hand combat sequence featuring Kartik. The schedule has been planned in such a way that the major outdoor fight scenes will be shot before the monsoons hit the city. This film will see the leading man attempt action again after Shehzada", the report stated.## The movie was announced last year and it marks the maiden collaboration between Kabir Khan and Kartik. Mumbai, June 9 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's much-awaited social drama film OMG 2 has locked Independence Day 2023 weekend release, which means Ranbir Kapoor's "Animal" might get postponed to a new date as per the reports.## Directed by Amit Rai, "OMG 2" will be hitting worldwide theaters on August 11, Friday, and will have a long Independence Day weekend to make an impact at the box office. The movie is a spiritual sequel to Akshay's "OMG – Oh My God!" (2012) which was a big success. ## "OMG 2" revolves around sex education in India and Akshay will be playing the role of Lord Shiva. In the first film, he played Lord Krishna. Kochi, June 8 - Sree Gokulam Movies has acquired theatrical rights to another Tamil biggie, superstar Rajinikanth's Jailer to distribute across the Kerala state. ## One of the leading distribution studios in Kerala, Gokulam Movies recently grabbed Thalapathy Vijay's highly-awaited Pan India movie "Leo" at an all-time record price of 16 crores. Vijay has a huge following in Kerala which helped the makers to crack such a big deal. ## Now, superstar Rajinikanth's action-comedy "Jailer" will also be released by the same studio, according to the Kerala trade source AB George. The studio has reportedly paid a good amount of 5.50 crores for the same as a minimum guarantee royalty. ## "Jailer" is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures. Mumbai, June 8 - Superstar Prabhas-fronted "Adipurush" has completed the censorship formalities ahead of the wide worldwide release on June 16. Directed by Om Raut, "Adipurush" has been the talking point for the last few months, but now, it is set for a smooth release.## According to the latest development, the epic drama film has been certified with a clean "U" certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with approved official run-time of 179 minutes (2 hours and 59 minutes), making it one of the longest Indian films of the recent past.## "Adipurush" is the cinematic adaptation of the epic Ramayana, so it was expected to get a clean certificate from CBFC. The title was launched two days before the 63rd birthday of NBK which falls on June 10. ## Along with the title announcement, the makers also released a new poster in which NBK can be seen sporting a salt-and-pepper look in half a kurta and pants and is seen stabbing a sword into the land with an intense expression. The State Emblem of the country (the Lion Capital of Ashoka) is also included in the title logo which makes it intriguing. ## While the title poster gets launched today (June 8), the makers will reportedly launch the teaser of "Bhagavanth Kesari" on June 10 on the occasion of the actor's birthday. The actor will now move on to his theatrical projects, and one of them is the third installment of the courtroom comedy drama "Jolly LLB". ## Last year, it was revealed that Akshay Kumar along with Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla would be returning for Jolly LLB 3, and now, the "Munna Bhai" actor has confirmed that same in a recent interview while promoting "Asur 2". ## In an interview with TellyChakkar, Arshad said that the shoot of "Jolly LLB 3" will start early next year. The movie will see Akshay and Arshad against each other as reports suggest that it will be more of a conflict between the two protagonists who play the role of lawyers in the franchise. ## Arshad Warsi led the first "Jolly LLB" movie in 2013 before Akshay played the lead in "Jolly LLB 2" in 2017". The upcoming movie will be directed by Subhash Kapoor who also helmed the first two films in the franchise. ## Meanwhile, the actor has also confirmed the next Dhamaal movie Dhamaal 4 is in development and Paritosh Painter is writing the script for the same. The movie was supposed to be headlined by Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Ram and Sita. ## The movie has been in pre-production for a long time but as per the reports, the project has been put on the backburner for the time being. While the makers haven't made anything official yet, it is said that they were unable to lock in the actor to play the role of Raavan. ## Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan was earlier reportedly approached to play Raavan and he showed interest in it as well but since the movie was not moving forward, the actor backed out in order to focus on other commitments. ## The project, backed by Madhu Mantena and Namit Malhotra, was supposed to be made on a huge budget and was to start shooting this year. Mukesh Khanna Opens Up On Why Superhero Movie 'Shaktimaan' Production Getting Delayed

Mumbai, June 7 - In February last year, Sony Pictures India in association with Mukesh Khanna's Bheeshm International, and Brewing Thoughts Private Limited announced the cinematic adaptation of the popular Indian superhero show Shaktimaan. ## Sony Pictures announced the movie as a planned trilogy, but there hasn't been much development happened since the announcement. During this, the rumors have been making rounds that Ranveer Singh was approached to play the iconic role but there was no confirmation about the same after that. ## Mukesh Khanna, who played the titular role in the "Shaktimaan" tv series, has now opened up on why the production of the movie is getting delayed and when it will start rolling. Khanna confirmed that the contract between him and Sony Pictures has already been signed and plans are being made to start the production soon. ## "This is a big-scale project and each film in the trilogy would cost at least 200-300 crores in the making. This is not a small film, it is a massive film, and that takes time. A lot of things are happening, but I am not allowed to talk", Khanna said in a video on his YouTube Channel Bhishma International.## The actor-producer also revealed that he cannot make any appearance in Shaktimaan's get-up now as the makers of the movie don't want any comparison. Khanna, however, refused to reveal the actor who will play the role of "Shaktimaan" but promised that the cast will be revealed soon. ## It has been also reported that Malayalam filmmaker Basil Joseph has been approached to direct the film with Ranveer Singh being the front-runner to headline it.
