Bengaluru, January 9 - After scripting history 3 years ago with KGF: Chapter 2, Kannada superstar Yash will return to the big screen with gangster action drama Toxic - A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, directed by national award-winning director Geetu Mohandas. ## Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic is currently being wrapped and is expected to be released in December this year. Meanwhile, the makers of the film treated fans with the first look glimpse on the occasion of Yash's birthday on January 8. ## While the first look glimpse didn't reveal much about the plot, it has helped raise the buzz after the blockbuster response on social media. The look of Yash, which is very similar to his widely popular Rocky Bhai in KGF, and the background music have increased expectations. ## On YouTube, the blockbuster Glimpse scored a huge 36+ million views in the first 24 hours which is said to be the highest for an Indian film first Look Glimpse on a single channel. 'Game Changer' Worldwide Pre-Release Theatrical Business Details

Hyderabad, January 9 - Telugu superstar Ram Charan teamed up with maverick director S. Shankar for the first time for a political action thriller Game Changer. Produced by Dil Raju, the movie also stars Kiara Advani and SJ Suryah in prominent roles. ## Game Changer is one of the most anticipated movies, and as expected, it has scored fantastic pre-release theatrical business in all major areas. According to the trade report, the Game Changer theatrical business in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) has been valued at 122 crore. ## The 122 crore AP-TG business includes approximately 43 crores in the Nizam area. The film will need to score around 225 crores gross collection to break even in the home states. Apart from AP/TG, Game Changer's business in Karnataka is valued at around 14 crore, followed by 15 crore in Tamil Nadu and around 2 crore in Kerala. The movie has been locked at around 42 crore in the Hindi belt. ## The overseas business is done at 25 crores, and worldwide theatrical rights are valued at around 220 crores. Game Changer will need to score around 221+ crores worldwide share or around 425+ crores gross collection in order to break even and emerge as a box office hit.## GC will have to become Ram Charan's highest-grossing solo film by more than double margin to emerge as a success. The current biggest solo grosser of the actor is Rangasthalam which grossed around 220 crores worldwide and was a big blockbuster. The film is directed by Sandeep Kewlani, and Abhishek Anil Kapur, and produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. ## The much-anticipated action-packed trailer of Sky Force was launched on January 5 during an event in Mumbai and as expected, it generated huge curiosity among the fans and general audience. According to the official data revealed by the makers, the trailer scored 180 million views across social media platforms in the first 24 hours, making it one of the most-watched Indian film trailers. ## On YouTube, the trailer was launched on Maddock Films and Jio Studios' channels on which it generated 57.65 million views combined in the first full day. Mumbai, January 6 - Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's romantic comedy Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is all set to enter the 200 crores net club after a very good New Year opening weekend upon its re-release at the box office. ## The Ayan Mukerji's directorial re-opened in cinemas on January 3rd and scored approximately 1.20 crores net collection on its first day. It showed a 100% jump on Saturday to collect approximately 2.25 crores net and there was another solid jump of 35% on Sunday for around 3 crores net.## The blockbuster film scored approximately 6.40 crores in its latest re-release run and including last year's limited re-release collection of around 75 lakh, YJHD's total domestic cume reached 195.75 crores net. It earned 188.60 crores in its original run back in 2013.## Last year, a couple of films witnessed a good response in their re-release run and YJHD followed to same. It opened on over 750 shows which increased to around 2200 shows on Sunday. The trend indicates the movie to have a good hold on Monday and is expected to remain for a couple of weeks to come. ## YJHD was declared a blockbuster in its original run and its re-release will make sure it attain what was left in the first place, that is 200 crores net collection. Chennai, January 5 - Vijay Sethupathi's action thriller Maharaja missed out on entering the 200 crores club at the worldwide box office despite a superb run in China where it has become the highest-grossing Indian movie since 2018. ## Directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, Maharaja has been fantastic on the mainland, finishing with approximately 91.65 crores as the 10th highest-grossing Indian film there. The film was released on November 29 last year in China, and thanks to positive word of mouth, it kept climbing at the box office before running out of gas. ## Earlier, the blockbuster grossed approximately 107.50 crores worldwide and it looked like the China collection would take it past 200 crores gross. However, the film finished with a worldwide total of approximately 199 crores gross, which is nonetheless a blockbuster result. ## Maharaja has earned 83.50 crores gross in India and 115.50+ crores at the overseas box office. Mumbai, January 4 - After a very good opening of around 1.20 crores net collection, Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's 2013 romantic-comedy Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani scores an almost 100% jump on its second day of re-release. ## The Ayan Mukerji's directorial blockbuster had over 750 shows on the first day and with demand rising, the shows doubled on its second day at around 1600 shows. The movie minted an approximately 2.25 crores net collection on Saturday, pushing 2 two-day re-release total of the film to around 3.45 crores. ## The film has good pre-sales for Sunday which should mean another good day at the box office. It is looking for a 6+ crores net opening weekend which will take its total collection (including the original run) to around 195 crores and then break into a 200 crore club by next weekend or before. ## There are a couple of new films releasing next weekend, however, the lack of buzz for them might help YJHD to have an extended re-release run till Republic Day.
